Originally debutted in "A Tale of Kindled Bonds", Shinsha is a human girl who gets kidnapped and experimented on by the organization Jorha who fear that another war against the Astrals will come back again.

A young woman who's been friends with Meg since childhood but their friendship has been strained by the time of "''My Beloved Auguste''," and Mari makes fun of Meg. However, when saved by Meg from a giant hermit crab, Mari's attitude goes a complete 180, and develops affection for her old friend.
