Anansi
- Breakout Character: While not quite a household name like the Greek, Norse, or Egyptian gods, Anansi is the figure Westerners are most likely to have heard of, thanks to American Gods and Spider-Man.
- Friendly Neighborhood Spider: Anansi is generally the protagonist in his stories, and he's usually regarded as benign or beneficial. A few stories cast him as more of an Unsympathetic Comedy Protagonist, but he's never truly villainous.
- God of Knowledge: Anansi is described as a god of stories and knowledge because he tricked sky god Nyame into selling him every story that was ever told.
