* Call Allen Walker from ''Manga/DGrayMan'' [[EmbarrassingNickname "Moyashi"]] and watch him boil and explode. Or mention his TricksterMentor, particularly if the sentence also contains the word "debt"...

When a character always goes into a rage over a certain minor thing, you've hit their BerserkButton. Some of them are long enough to have their own pages:

** One of the most legendary scenes is Yami Yugi's duel with Insector Haga(Weavil Underwood) during the DOMA arc. Haga pulls out a card, saying it has Yugi's soul and rips it in half. At first, Yami Yugi is grief-stricken, then Haga reveals it was just a prank. Yami Yugi doesn't really take it well. He then activates a card called "Berserker's Soul" which allows him to defeat Haga. However, even though Haga's life points hit zero, he ordered his monster to somehow keep on attacking. Keep in mind that the Seal of Orichalcos was in effect, meaning the pain was REAL. Yami Yugi would have kept on ordering his monster to attack Haga, until Anzu stopped him.

** Kaiba doesn't take losing well, hence his status as TheRival and TheOnlyOneAllowedToDefeatYou to Yugi. Messing with his beloved Blue-Eyes White Dragons or his company is an even better way to make him angry.

* In ''Anime/MyOtome'', Shiho becomes enraged if someone calls her "Maki-maki."

** Kiritaka telling Kowase that [[ItsAllAboutMe Okaya doesn’t care about him]] is a MAJOR trigger because, deep down, he knows he’s right, and that pisses him off even more. In the past, [[DefiantToTheEnd while Kowase was torturing him]], Kiritaka [[HannibalLecture told him off]] for being Okaya's SycophanticServant, reminding him that no matter how loyal Kowase was towards Okaya, his boss never did, nor ever would, give a rat’s ass about him. After Kowase accidentally presses Okaya's own Berserk Button in the present and Okaya proves that Kiri was right, Kowase becomes infuriated for the rest of the day.

** Do not mention Kiritaka's name in [[BigBad Okaya's]] presence. Even though it's been two years after his death, Okaya really doesn't want to hear it, because it reminds him of his rebellious eyes that he loathes so much. While Okaya is [[TranquilFury rather subdued about it]], even Kowase can tell [[OhCrap he has stepped on a landmine]] when he mentions him in front of Okaya while the latter is unknowingly [[RightBehindMe standing right behind him]].

** It's also not a good idea to hit or otherwise hurt Kobayashi, as Tohru ''will'' go dragon on your ass. Looking at you, Clemene.

* She doesn't care if you insult her. She doesn't care if you kill the members of her cult. She doesn't even care if you try to kill her. But for the love of all that is good and holy, do ''not'' suggest to [[Manga/MagiTheLabyrinthOfMagic Ren Gyokuen]] that she has no faith in anything. Bad things will happen.

* ''Anime/KillLaKill'': Don't touch Inumuta's laptop, or he will flip out at you.

** Don't you ever dare to mistreat either [[Anime/KirakiraPrecureALaMode Akira]]'s sister Miku, her family, her friends or an innocent, or else.

* In ''Manga/AttackOnTitan'', Eren Yeager has ''serious'' rage issues regarding Titans, such that it's not a good idea to mention them around him. This has become an in-joke within the fandom, and many like to joke that Eren can't even hear the word "Titan" without ranting. It's more or less true. [[spoiler:Needless to say, due to a lot of CharacterDevelopment and the knowledge that much of what he knew about the world around him was a lie, he's gone from wanting to kill all Titans to wanting to use the Titans to kill his people's enemies]].

* In ''Manga/AttackOnTitan'', Eren Yeager has ''serious'' rage issues regarding Titans, such that it's not a good idea to mention them around him. This has become an in-joke within the fandom, and many like to joke that Eren can't even hear the word "Titan" without ranting. It's more or less true.

** Haganezuka takes a great deal of pride in his creations as a swordsmith, and will chase you down with knives if you lose or damage his swords. His reactions, however, are downright ''subdued'' compared to his colleague Kanamori, who threatens to outright kill Inosuke when he chips his swords in front of him.

** Do not harm, or gods forbid, ''kill'' Gon's friends. When Neferpitou [[spoiler:killed Kite and lied to Gon about it before trying to kill him]], Gon was so utterly consumed by his rage that he [[spoiler:sacrificed his Nen to splatter Pitou' purple insides across a forest with his bare hands.]]

* ''Anime/KillLaKill'':
** Don't touch Inumuta's laptop, or he will flip out at you.
** [[KillerRabbit Nui Harime]] is usually bubbly and happy, with a grin on her face at almost all times. However, if she is caught by surprise ([[spoiler:in Isshin Matoi's case]]) or if she finds herself outclassed ([[spoiler:in his daughter Ryuko's case]]), she will ''[[VillainousBreakdown really]]'' [[SlasherSmile start]] [[MadnessMantra losing it.]]
** Speaking of Nui, she is Ryuko's BerserkButton. Granted, [[HotBlooded Ryuko is not the calmest or nicest girl]], but [[ItsPersonalWithTheDragon she especially has it out for Nui]] given that [[spoiler:she is the one who killed Isshin.]] When Ryuko found this out, [[UnstoppableRage she went completely]] ''ballistic.'' [[spoiler:However, [[CurbStompBattle after finally humiliating Nui]] [[AnArmAndALeg and chopping her arms off]], Ryuko no longer sees Nui as rage-inducing as before, instead seeing her as [[NotWorthKilling a mere annoyance not worth her time]].]]
** Don't call Mikisugi's mecha the "Dotonbori Robo", or he'll {{insist|entTerminology}} that you call it "DTR".

* ''Manga/ACertainScientificRailgun'': Mikoto Misaka suffers from ACupAngst, so she gets pissed off when people look down on her for having small breasts or flaunt their assets. Misaki Shokuhou enjoys doing both to rile her up. Also, the first time Touma Kamijou met Mikoto, some delinquents were trying to hit on her. Touma stepped in to help, but called them [[MistakenForPedophile pedophiles for hitting on a child]]. Mikoto, who is a teen, gets so pissed off about being mistaken for a child that she attacks them all with [[ShockAndAwe electricity]].

* In ''Anime/LostUniverse'', do not rag on Kaine's rag. (Calling his cape a rag is a good way to get a lightsaber to the face.)

* ''Manga/ACertainScientificRailgun'': Mikoto Misaka suffers from ACupAngst, so she gets pissed off when people look down on her for having small breasts or flaunt their assets. ** Do NOT insult any of Rentarou's girlfriends. Seriously, don't. It's the one thing that can make him fly into a murderous rage.
** Unless you want the entire "family" to go [[Franchise/DragonBall "super-smitten"]] on you, do NOT make Shizuka cry.

** Don't waste Kyouko's food, or she will be ''pissed.''

* She doesn't care if you insult her. She doesn't care if you kill the members of her cult. She doesn't even care if you try to kill her. But for the love of all that is good and holy, do ''not'' suggest to [[Manga/{{Magi}} Ren Gyokuen]] that she has no faith in anything. Bad things will happen.

* [[OrderVersusChaos Chaos-aligned]] dragons in ''Manga/MissKobayashisDragonMaid'' hate the divine on principle alone, so it is unwise to invoke the gods if there's even the slightest chance that [[TheDreaded Tohru]] can hear you.

** If there is one thing guaranteed to piss [[VillainProtagonist Light Yagami]] off, it's suggesting that what he is doing as Kira is wrong or evil. When Lind L. Tailor outright ''stated'' this during the second episode, Light wrote his name ''extra-large'' in the Death Note.

* ''Franchise/AceAttorney'':
** In the manga, Raymond Spume becomes enraged when Sparkle Land publicity assistant Julie bites her nails, believing it to be a bad habit and unprofessional to do it in public. [[spoiler:This ultimately proves to be his undoing; after Spume admits that he saw Julie doing it during the show(while she was behind him), Phoenix realizes that Spume wore his costume backwards, which enabled him to murder the victim]].
** Thomas Spitzer gets angry when someone questions his expertise on spiders.

* ''Anime/CowboyBebop'': As shown in "Jupiter Jazz (Part I)," it's a terrible idea to call Spike by the name of his rival Vicious. He ends up [[UnstoppableRage going berserk]] and beating up an [[{{Mooks}} entire gang]] -- whose leader survives, only to toss himself into the back of a garbage truck.
