Awesome Music / Sonic: Before the Sequel

Go To

It would be easier to write the entire goddamn soundtrack, given it's one of the things people remember most about the game due to how high quality it is; the soundtrack even got Approval of God from official Sonic composer Jun Senoue himself, which should be telling how great it is. Specific examples include:

  • "Breathtaking Vision", being the only stage track not to be replaced fits perfectly with the stage and the cutscene following the boss. According to one of the composers, it wasn't replaced due to LakeFeperd's request.
  • All three acts for Sunset Star are pure jazzy goodness, with Act 1 (Evening Dreamscape Pt 1) being chill and peaceful, Act 2 (Interlude) being a fast-paced saxophone piece perfect for the city setting and Act 3 (Evening Dreamscape Pt 2) going back to the soothing vibes of Act 1, but with the glorious sax of Act 2 being incorporated into it, making it even more chill than act 1's.
  • The Act 1 theme of Perilous Paradise, Playa del Mediterráneo, is what happens if you decide to make a Sonic track in the style of Kirby, with the final result being an upbeat and energetic track that would fit perfectly in the latter.
