Awesome Music / John Wick: Chapter 4

Go To

John Wick: Chapter 4 has so much Awesome Music, it's no wonder it has a page for it now.

  • Making his return after skipping the third chapter in the series is Le Castle Vania, who on top of bringing back "LED Spirals" and "Shots Fired" from the first film, brings to the table the "Himmel und Hölle" album:
    • "Osaka Phonk", a stunning rearrangement of John Wick's leitmotif befitting the introduction to the Osaka Continental.
    • "Blood Code", a Triumphant Reprise of Chapter 2's "John Wick Mode" as Wick fights his way through Killa's nightclub, which escalates into "Wetwork" when John continues the fight after falling from the balcony and then "A Long Way Down" when John fights Killa himself one-on-one.
  • "Dreams" by ZHU and Nero punctuates John and Akira standing their ground as they defend the deconsecrated Osaka Continental from the High Table's siege.
  • The Opening shot in Berlin is accompanied by "Ever Now" by Gesaffelstein. Meanwhile, the Establishing Shot for the Himmel und Hölle Nightclub is paired with "New Tribe" by Powder. It continues to play in the background until John Wick, Caine and Mr Nobody start attacking Killa after the Poker game.
  • Capping off the film is "Eye For An Eye", sung by Rina Sawayama (Akira) herself in the end credits, a catchy song with lyrics about revenge and the lengths one will go to achieve it, which describes the core theme of the entire series perfectly.
  • The haunting, sexy "I Would Die For You" by In This Moment both provides a sweeping rock ballad and summarizes the themes of John Wick as a whole for a powerful statement song.
