** The [[https://youtu.be/o6qAIaqK3_Q original theme itself]] is still just as awesome today as it was when the movie came out. The score didn't depart the franchise after the first film either. The Heisei films in particular were fond of using the section between 1:10 and 1:55 as a tension builder during or before a big fight, to stirring effect, and it rarely feels old or out of place no matter how many times it is repeated in a single film. The score has been used in movies sixty-nine years and counting after the original film (as partially tracked [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4AyQDm8hP0 here]]), cementing its timeless status.

** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6t3ARIr6Qw Dreaded God]], the main theme of ''Godzilla 2000'', is an amazing piece, which truly cements Godzilla's status as the destructive, yet imposing and sometimes misunderstood force of nature he is, and which also marks an awesome beginning for the Millenium era. The track is particularly good, with its vocals giving a sense of awe for the title character. One thing that is nice is that the American version of the film placed Godzilla's roar at the end of the track, making it sound even better.

!Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)
* Composer Bear [=McCreary=] really delivered with the soundtrack for ''King of the Monsters'':
** He honors Akira Ikufube through two tracks: first with "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6FvFfVmngs Rebirth]]", which is a re-imagining of the original Godzilla theme (remembered more fondly for [[spoiler: Godzilla's re-emergence from the deep after Dr. Serizawa's last act of compassion towards him]]), and later [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cD0FeOrK6rk his take on the main Godzilla theme]]. Both feature harder-hitting orchestral melodies and additional Japanese Monk chants, making both as unique as they are for the Film/{{Monsterverse}}.
** His instrumental but instantly recognizable arrangement of Yuji Koseki's just as iconic [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHOX1Ivyz7k Mothra's Song]], even including the drumbeats from the original ''Mothra'' movie. And now [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xa_cK9B8Yqk with vocals]] courtesy of Elise Locklove.
** Then, he does an [[https://youtu.be/lOO8Um_jmLI epic rendition]] of Music/BlueOysterCult's [[https://youtu.be/myqSETD5_bs Godzilla]] for the movie's End Credits, by adding the same orchestral feel as the main theme (complete with the same Japanese Monk chants), and [[Music/SystemOfADown Serj fuckin' Tankian]] on vocals.

** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sgqLhllHQI Dreaded God]], the main theme of ''Godzilla 2000'', is an amazing piece, which truly cements Godzilla's status as the destructive, yet imposing and sometimes misunderstood force of nature he is, and which also marks an awesome beginning for the Millenium era. The track is particularly good, with its vocals giving a sense of awe for the title character. One thing that is nice is that the American version of the film placed Godzilla's roar at the end of the track, making it sound even better.
