- Most of the "new music" — tracks not on the original Chrono Trigger soundtrack (some custom, some remixes, some taken from other games) — are significantly epic. Special note goes for "Requiem" by Mythos, which plays in the Darkness Beyond Time, and "Battle with the Devil" from the Tsugunai: Atonement soundtrack for the Final Boss. They both really capture the feel of the moment in the games.
- The song that plays when Marle arrives in 1 A.D., Sheltering Light. The instruments used during it really give the setting its ancient history/early medieval feel, in both the Reptite timeline, and the restored timeline.
- The song played when Marle battles Porre after being granted powers by the Frozen Flame is a highly energetic track, complete with a One-Woman Wail.
