Awesome / Zatch Bell! 2

  • Kiyomaro's first appearance has him cooly confronting Waig to keep him from killing Zelie and doing his best to hold him back despite being simply an unarmed guy with a honed sixth sense against a giant cyclops. He went from a cowardly schoolboy who couldn't make friends to being an accomplished archeologist who's exalted as a Hope Bringer by people from another dimension.
  • At the hidden sarcophagi room, Kiyomaro keeps putting on a fight against Waig until he manages to revive Gash and summon him into the human world. He calmly issues orders to the demon king and fights alongside him as if they didn't spend several years separated, making fools out of Waig and Gill until the villains are forced to perform a Dangerous Forbidden Technique. Gash and Kiyomaro manage to adapt and pierce Waig's core with a Zakeruga despite being trapped in a cage of hellfire, which even Waig admires in his final moments.
    • Rashirudo was thought to be the poster child of The Worf Barrage in the original series — a reflecting barrier that is easily shattered for drama or so other characters could save Gash. In the sequel, it impressively starts powered up without the need for Zaguruzemu and can spawned far away from Gash to protect others.
  • Gash hearing of Kanchome being the first to flee from the alien invasion doesn't help Kiyomaro's opinion of the duck-boy, particularly when he'd rather have the help of over the top badasses like Brago and Ashuron. However, it turns out Kanchome was forced to flee to Italy to protect his little brother and he actually puts one hell of a resistance against Levy and Nosehair Boo by tricking them into the path of a speeding train. When the villains recover with Saifojio and send Gozer to bite Kanchome's head off, the Hero of Italy, Parco Folgore, arrives on the scene and slams the beast into the ground.
  • After taking his surrogate son to a hospital and learning about the situation in the Demon World, Folgore is understandably very scared to be going to war again without any of their previously learned spells. He still keeps throwing himself onto Gozer to keep civilians from being hurt and even suplexes the damn thing, motivating Kanchome to fight and summoning the Yellow Spellbook to their location. At this point, Kanchome and Folgore think they're alone against the invaders but are dead-serious about taking the Demon World back and no Fantastic Nuke from halfway across the planet is going to cheat them out of victory this time.
  • After Kanchome figures out the purpose of his new Mo Poruku spell, he easily masters how to control the physilogy of different beasts and forces both Gozer and Hyros to fend off Levy's transformed form without actually injuring her. Combined with Nosehair Boo sacrificing himself to undo the Superpower Meltdown on Levy's body, this convinces the girl to cease hostilities on Kanchome and Folgore. To cap it off, Gash and Kiyomaro arrive on the scene to protect everyone from the police firing at them with a long-ranged Rashirudo.
  • Brago's return. He first blocks a punch from an empowered Zillion (Empowered by Leo's forbidden spell, mind you) with his bare arm, and then with one punch, blows said arm into smithereens before Shelly could even mutter a spell. Then with a second punch, beheads Zillion and send it flying into the air. The only spell he had Shelly used, was just to make Zillion kneel before him. Every other combatant in the area, could only stare in awe at the spectacle.
  • Nicholas calling his father off for being out with another woman while Sherry, his wife, was at home risking her life to protect all of them. And when Claude tries reprimanding him for talking to him like that, Brago cuts in by destroying the car he came in with one punch, lifting him up by the neck, and all but says he is not pleased with how he's been treating Sherry and their children.
