Awesome / Xander Quest: Reborn on the Hellmouth

• The defining awesome moment of the first section of the story was winning the World Tournament- ploughing through multiple opponents who would have been capable of winning on their own merit, including Shuzen Kahlua, Altria Drake, multiple ninjas, and more.
  • Various other moments of awesome go out to other participants who made it to the finals- in particular, Cordelia Chase, Tatsuki Ariwasa, and Tifa Lockheart for all being Badass Normals who made their way to the finals despite little or no supernatural ability that wasn't sealed away.
  • Props also go to Altria for managing to hand Medaka her first ever defeat by someone who could even remotely be considered a peer.
  • Alex's other major Awesome moment is pulling out Maximum Power for the very first time to beat Kahlua, who later proves herself in his, Altria's and Medaka's range.
• Alex beats Kahlua in their second full bout, without any technicalities involved.
• The second defining moment of awesome is when Alex, as part of a drawn-out quest to obtain a powerful artifact to purify a maddened nine-tailed Kitsune, takes on and beats Dark Link in a straight fight- a feat which is likely to remain his defining combat achievement for some time.
