• Tatara being so committed to prove he's serious about dance that he does the box exercise all night without thinking about it. Even more so when it's revealed the exercise's given him massive blisters that he didn't even notice until he stopped.
• Sadly absent from the anime, Tatara taking a beating from the bullies while silently swearing not to give them the location of the dance academy in order to keep the members safe.
• After silently taking Gaju's crap ever since the Akagi's introduction, the scene in episode 7 of Mako finally snapping and smacking her brother in the face was well-deserved (and cheered on by many viewers).
• Shizuku knowing exactly what to say to push Gaju's buttons and make him give the performance of his life during the Teppei Cup arc. Even while seeming passive, Shizuku manages to be the one subtly holding the reins during this partnership.
• Shizuku coldly reminding Tatara not to underestimate her while casually grabbing hold of his collar.
• The entire "Flower and Frame" sequence for Mako and Tatara.
• Chinatsu leading Tatara during their first true practice. Even more so in the anime with the cool, intense electronic music chosen for the scene.
