• In Fantastic Adventure, Unico has just had his horn cut off by the Big Bad, and his friends, Katy and Beezle, run to his body. Katy mourns his death by cradling him and bargaining away her being human if he'll just open his eyes while Beezle declares that "I don't need this stupid horn! I'll give it back to you! Please open your eyes..." And plants the horn on Unico's head... cue Unico's taking a level in badass and proceeding to one-hit kill a 50-story tall demon. What Kind of Lame Power Is Heart, Anyway? The best kind!
• The second movie has Unico put through the emotional wringer after Kuruku turns everyone, even Cheri, into living puppets. Despite this, Unico can't bring himself to hate Kuruku and apologizes after injuring him during their fight, even offering to be his friend forever. Kuruku reveals that hatred was the only thing keeping him alive, and Unico taking it away leaves him with nothing to keep going—but for the first time ever, he feels good, and Kuruku's spell is instantly undone as the castle collapses and everyone changed into puppets is restored.
