- The Grand High Witch ends up a victim of her own potion (and is transformed into an ugly rat) and is promptly killed by one of the hotel employees. Nice poetic justice.
- Speaking of that scene, the fact that Helga gives her a minor "The Reason You Suck" Speech, then immediately shuts down her empty threats.Helga: The most evil and appalling woman in the world. Loathsome. Hideous. Disgrace!

- Luke is made of awesome all around, doing his damnedest, even as a mouse, to bring the witches down and succeeding at it, but special mention goes to how earlier he risks his escape by saving the baby that the Grand High Witch pushed down... and he not only does save the baby, he still escapes the entire coven anyway; he's only caught because the GHW figures out his most likely hiding spot. When he declares at the end of the movie that he'll hunt the rest of the witches regardless of his lifespan, you believe him all the more once he's turned human again.
