• After Dimmed Star is blasted to pieces by Celestia who puts much of her power in it, she's presumed dead by everypony. Just a moment later, her Ink flows from the rumble before her body regenerates itself. Dimmed Star is very much alive, and very pissed off.
• It happens only off-screen, but while rampaging under the Entity's influence, Dimmed Star yanks one of the wedding hall's stone pillars from its place and throws it at Celestia "with all the fury of a Minotaur". Even with a magic barrier protecting her, Celestia sprains her left wing.
• When the Elements of Harmony are brought to the wedding hall, the light in Dimmed Star's mind grows strong enough to threaten the Entity's control over her mind as it materializes into a form that resembles Twilight. With the aid of the Element of Magic, said light starts causing in the Entity a burning sensation so bad that it has no choice but to retreat into Dimmed Star's subconscious.
  • The Entity itself proves to be so powerful that the Elements of Harmony can only contain it in Dimmed Star's subconscious, not cleanse her of its influence.
• While Business Savvy is foolish to insult Princess Celestia when she's increasing the courtroom's temperature in her fury, the fact remains that he's completely unintimidated by her wrath. The high temperature is the only reason he's sweating at all.
• Hasty Vote gives the chained Dimmed Star "a quick reminder" not to speak out of turn and that she must raise her hoof if she wishes to have a say. She then smugly adds that it would a problem to her. As soon as she turns her back to the glaring mare and takes one step, however, she halts upon hearing the sound of falling restraints. She then finds herself, much to her horror, face-to-face with the wickedly grinning Dimmed Star who mocks her with her own words.
  Dimmed Star: Now I'd liked to give you a quick reminder, do not speak out of turn and raise your hoof if you have anything to say… oh, well you might just have a problem with that. [Hasty Vote finds her legs restrained by the Ink before a tentacle shuts her mouth] Tsk, tsk, tsk. Already trying to break the rules? Keep this up and you'll have to be removed from the courtroom. This Hearing is only just getting started, and believe me, you don't want to miss it.
• When the Entity attempts to take advantage of Dimmed Star's anguish over learning what she did to her brother, Celestia puts a stop to that by pulling her into a comforting hug — and she doesn't even know she accomplished that! Gandalf is right about not to underestimate the significance of simple acts of kindness and love.
  • Later Pinkie Pie manages to snap Dimmed Star out of the Entity's control with that same trick. She's not even sure it will work.
• Just as Brutus catches Cheerilee and starts choking her to death, she starts thinking about her students when he mockingly calls her Miss Teacher. Wanting to see the foals grow up into wonderful adults and possibly prevent one of them from becoming like Brutus, she decides she's not ready to die yet. These thoughts renew her strength to the point that the enraged school teacher is able to kick Brutus off of herself, soundly beat him, and restrain him with the branch he used to trip her.
• Zecora saving Scootaloo from the Will-o'-the-Wisp and Timberwolves. First, she scares the wolves away with a blinding flash of light. Then, she grabs the enchanted Scootaloo right before the filly can step over the edge of Ghastly Gorge. When the fae lunges at them, she throws at it salt and wrought iron shavings which cause it to explode in colorful flames. And finally, she shields herself and Scootaloo from the inferno by covering them in her cloak which she enchants with Zebrican magic.
