There is no actual evidence that the Great Will and the Axiom are the same thing, especially since they have different Japanese names that mean different things.

* The Bonds Ending is even better than the Massacre Ending. Nanashi teams up with the Mikado samurai Flynn, Jonathan and Walter (both restored thanks to Satan, who is comprised of both Merkabah and Lucifer) to take YHVH down. It is revealed that YHVH is a rogue avatar of the Axiom, (known as the Great Will in earlier titles and is SMT's SentientCosmicForce) the Axiom is benevolent and Nanashi and Flynn are messiahs created by the Axiom to defeat YHVH and stop him from oppressing humanity. In the aftermath the people of Tokyo and Mikado work together in harmony with the fairies to ensure a long lasting peace.

* Hallelujah revealing his powers. During the Mikado Infiltration mission, the party gets caught and has their gear taken from them. Only Nanashi can summon demons without a Smartphone, so their first move is to retrieve their weapons from the Monastery, where Azrael is waiting. After a brief skirmish, Azrael summons an army of angels to attack. The player is then treated to several rounds of dialogue options where if Nanashi attacks the army, he's left open to Azrael's attack, and if Nanashi tries to push through to Azrael, the army pushes him back. With no weapons and their only fighter overrun by angels, it looks like there's no hope left for the party... and that's when Hallelujah steps up to plate. Hallelujah, the support party member with niche skills and no offensive abilities, reveals himself to be a powerful demon. His first move? Wiping out the entire angel army with a single cast of Megidolaon. His second is to act as Nanashi's partner for the Azrael boss fight, throwing True Bufudyne after True Bufudyne at Azrael.

* Nanashi claiming the Throne in the Cosmic Egg on Anarchy. Mere moments after sitting on it, he reshapes the interior of the throne room to his will, changing it from a mass of viscera to a starry sky.
** It's subtle, but oddly effective: if Nanashi reenters the throne room, even the narration refers to it as his throne. Then he sleeps on it to heal the party, but it's a chilling reminder that he's now a god, and AGodAmI knows it.
--> You sit on your throne and sigh deeply.

* The Massacre Ending may be a TearJerker GodzillaThreshold all the way through, but you cannot deny it is completely metal. Nanashi lives up to his title of God-killer with extreme prejudice, killing every deity in the world, including YHVH, permanently, and so permanently frees the world from any form of divine oppression. (Arguable, since you do this in order to become the unrivaled god yourself). It's also the hardest route in the game, so even seeing this makes you, the player, awesome.

* Every time you beat Twisted Tokyo, the dungeon resets and you can fight the Fiends again, except they've become stronger. And you can keep kicking their asses again and again, until their levels are all in the high 900's, with En no Ozuno at level 999 (to compare, the final boss is level 100 and can be beaten with a level 99 party). And yes, people have beaten him at that level.

* When Asahi has a HeroicBSOD with her father's death, and believing herself to be TheLoad, Gaston takes it too far and mock and insult her for it (actually he was trying to comfort her in his own way, but with him being the way he is, he worded it very, VERY poorly). Hallelujah has none of it and slugs him in the face. It's satisfying to see the Jerkass magnificent ass finally get what's coming to him, not to mention this triggers the beginning of his CharacterDevelopment.
