  • Deathmask versus one of the giants sent by the Titans. First Deathmask saves the giant from Shaka by pointing out the right order of battle (Shaka was the guardian of the Sixth Temple but was fighting before the First), then, when the giant arrives at his Temple, he proceeds to cause a massive Oh, Crap! with just his wall decorations (the faces of all of his victims), mocks his belief in being invincible because he was a giant, and proceeds to send his soul to hell with embarrassing ease. Then he consoles the fallen giant, for his face will be the most important piece of his collection.
    • The original series' tie-in novel "Gigantomachia" adds some context by hinting his main job (and why he's rarely at the Sanctuary) is to guard the seal on Typhon, the King of the Giants feared by Zeus himself. Thus him not taking the giant seriously but instead picking a fight with him: he was curious to know what kind of monsters Typhon reigned over... And found them wanting.
  • Kronos versus Gemini Saga's good half. The fight was in Saga's favor for the most part and this is best seen that Kronos had to use Athena's statue as cover in order to survive a point blank Galaxian Explosion. Yes, Saga forced a god to swallow his pride and take cover just to survive. The only thing that saved Kronos from being killed during this fight after the Galaxian Explosion moment mentioned above is the fact that Saga's evil half took over once again before the final blow could be dealt.
  • Chapter 35: Aiolia and Shura, both having been severely wounded just moments before, are on the brink of being crushed by the sins of humanity. Then Aldebaran arrives and lifts said sins up one-handed. The Titans also summon a Hydra in order to kill all three of them but this does little good because Aldebaran easily kills the Hydra with a Great Horn while holding up the sins of humanity at the same time.
