- Wegg tries to blackmail Boffin. He fails spectacularly, because there's a third will. Mr. Boffin has every reason to be furious with Wegg. But though he's angry he's still such a Nice Guy that he decides to give Wegg enough money to buy another stall, because he doesn't want to leave Wegg any worse off than he found him.
