* The PC can refuse to take part in initiation - in fact, she stands up, says it's hazing, basically tells Damien to piss off in front of the whole school, and storms out in glorious high dudgeon. Damien never speaks to her again after that... [[spoiler: but then that's probably not such a bad thing.]]

* The ending where you earn the trophy "Walking in Darkness". Sure, it's the absolute darkest ending to any of the paths, but it's also where [[spoiler:Damien]] proves that he hasn't just been trying to fool you into forgiving him for what he did: he ''really means it''. And when you decide you love him too much to keep the promise you made to [[spoiler:Ellen]], he sweeps you off your feet...and carries you off to a place of safety before the authorities can find you and erase your memories of magic [[spoiler:as would happen to ''anyone else'' who had just lost their magic if they didn't die in the process of losing it]]. Not only do the authorities never find you, he even promises to help you regain your magic if you want to.
