  • Chapter 1: Jeanne manages to summon Arthur as her Servant and together, they manage to fight off Rogue Archer and Rogue Berserker, with Arthur fighting Berserker on surprisingly equal ground considering not only their identities but also Classes, showing just why he is called King of Knights.
    • Even before then, Jeanne manages to briefly fight off Berserker and Archer despite later admitting she never had any skill with weaponry or personally fighting. Badass Pacifist indeed.
  • Chapter 3: The fight between Jeanne and Arthur versus Karna and Atalanta deserves a mention here. Despite being at a disadvantage fighting against the invincible Son of Surya, Arthur manages to hold his own by pure swordsmanship. He even mentions that he would have died multiple times if not for it. Also of mention is Jeanne holding her own against Atalanta and using her Revelation Skill to get the jump on her, surprising the Chaste Huntress.
  • Chapter 5: Gilgamesh briefly takes on Lancelot. It results in a similar showdown to their first one in Fate/Zero, but with one major difference: Gilgamesh decides to fight in close-combat. He manages to keep up with Lancelot's skills and could have gone on longer had Mordred not interrupted the fight.
    • Another one also occurs during said fight: Gilgamesh headbutts Lancelot. What's impressive about this is the fact that Lancelot is wearing a plated helmet. Gilgamesh willfully bashed his head against steel and did it so hard that it actually made the former flinch. There's a reason why he's called the King of Heroes.
  • Chapters 7-8: The first true battle of the Great Holy Grail War begins as the Red Faction begin their assault on the Black Faction's castle.
    • One particular standout is Mordred taking on Siegfried. Unlike in canon, she ends facing off against the real one and finds herself outclassed by how skilled he is. Goes to show how powerful a warrior Siegfried is when given the proper chance to shine.
  • Chapter 9-10: In order to defend his Master, Cu Chulainn takes on Karna in a fight. Props to both during the fight as Cu manages to give Karna his first real injury throughout the war whereas Karna managed to survive being stabbed in the heart. When Cu sees this, he's impressed and asks if Karna is some sort of god but then brushes it off as he gives off this line.
Cu Chulainn: Even if you are a god, the fact that you can bleed means that you can die.
  • Chapter 12: The Banquet of Heroes. Much like in Fate/Zero and its Banquet of Kings, just imagining the idea of all these legendary figures sitting down and having drinks with each other is just awesomeness in itself.
  • Chapters 13 - 15: The Battle for the Greater Grail at the Yggmellania Castle begins as the Rogue Faction begins their assault has tons of awesome moments.
    • When Hassan of the Hundred Faces reveals that he and his Master are spies for the Rogue Faction and try to get Caster of Black Medea to betray her Master Roche, she refuses and puts up a good fight against them despite being outnumbered.
    • The fight between Karna and Achilles is impressive by itself when two absurdly powerful immortal heroes duke it out and are evenly matched, especially for Achilles who finds excitement fighting an opponent that won't die too easily and can potentially kill him.
    • Siegfried engages the Rogue Rider Perseus on the rooftops of Yggmellania Castle. Upon realizing that Rider's scythe can bypass his invulnerable skin, Siegfried shrugs it off, reasoning that as long as he blocks and dodges Rider's attacks, it should not be a problem. Also a mention to Perseus for being able to fight Siegfried.
    • Elizabeth Bathory's Noble Phantasm managing to deflect Atalanta's Phoebes Catastrophe is a moment of awesome in itself, especially when Atalanta's Noble Phantasm has a higher rank than Elizabeth's.
    • The dogfight between Gilgamesh and Lancelot ends with the latter blowing up the former's craft similar to Fate/Zero, only for Gilgamesh to emerge from the wreck riding his motorcycle and punting the Black Knight off his jet with the bike, causing it to disintegrate. The King of Heroes then uses the Chains of Heaven to form a makeshift net to safely bring him to the ground.
    • Although he dies in the end, Chiron manages to hold off and kill Hassan's personas, break Perseus's arm which hampered his fighting ability for a while, and reveal his name to Fiore before the latter kills him. Even in death, Chiron manages to aid the Alliance by hampering his former pupil and giving away his identity.
    • Heck, even the Masters, notably Kairi, Gray, and Fiore, put up a good showing of it, blasting and slicing apart the Dragon Bone Warriors Semiramis created within her Hanging Gardens.
  • Chapter 18: When recounting how he destroyed the Holy Grail in the Third War, Arthur was compelled by Shirou to kill himself, causing the King of Knights to impale himself on Excalibur. However, in his haste to claim the Grail, Shirou did not specify how Arthur should kill himself which led to him activating Excalibur and blasting the Grail, Shirou, and himself to oblivion while destroying the cave the Grail was located in. While it did not work completely as the Grail is still around and Shirou survived with an incarnated human body, it was still a Dying Moment of Awesome for the legendary King of Knights.
  • Chapter 19: When they return to where the Holy Grail was located, Arthur and Jeanne encounter the Rogue Factions' Saber Richard the Lionheart and Robin Hood, the former challenged Arthur to a duel. Special mention goes to Richard using Excalibur against Arthur and the latter managing to dodge it and injure the former and Richard giving Arthur his first real injury.
  • Chapter 23: Iskandar revealing Ionioi Hetairoi is a moment of awesome by itself.
  • Chapter 25: The brief fight between Gilgamesh and Ozymandias also counts. Gilgamesh had to unlock the full power of the Gates of Babylon against the Egyptian Pharaoh and the latter managed to counter it with his own Noble Phantasms.
  • Chapters 30 - 31: The ongoing battle between Shirou's Rogue Faction and Manaka's Servants has some of these awesome moments.
    • The fight between Heracles and Richard, Atalanta, and Perseus is one long sequence of the latter three trying not to die to the former, but they managed to kill him at least once despite the incredible odds arrayed against them.
    • This is later supplemented with Heracles fighting Karna as the abovementioned three go off to deal with the rest of Manaka's Servants. Special mention goes to Karna using Vasavi Shakti against Heracles without his armor of invincibility and keeping up with him and the latter only lost four lives from the God-killing weapon.
    • The later fight between Richard and Cu Chulainn and Brynhild. The latter manages to fight both of them at the same time without much difficulty, and the former two work together to fight the more powerful Valkyrie. It ends with Richard and Brynhild using their Noble Phantasms against each other with Richard on the losing end of that battle, only for Cu Chulainn to strike Brynhild from behind with Gae Bolg, likely killing her (albeit temporarily).
