The Sardaukar ''get their asses handed to them'' by said women and children, and only manage to escape by turning the exhaust of their transports' jet engines into makeshift flamethrowers. They do manage to capture Alia, but only because [[ManipulativeBastard she wanted them to]]. She then scares the shit out of ole' Harkonnen's Bene Gesserit advisor, then kills him with a poisoned needle. CMOA for Alia as well.

* We only learn of this long after the deed's been done, but when Duncan Idaho was forcing the [[SuperSoldier Sardaukar]] away from Paul long enough to get away from the office, he apparently killed nineteen of them. At that time, the Sardaukar were powerful enough that a single one of them could slaughter ten house regulars, and even a Bene Gesserit adept. [[WorthyOpponent They were impressed enough]] to [[DueToTheDead hold onto his body]] and contact the Tleliax to get them to make a [[CloningBlues ghola]].

* In ''Literature/{{Dune}}'', the ''entire'' Fremen populace gets this when you learn that they use gigantic sandworms (up to several [[strike:hundred meters]] kilometres long) as passenger transports.

After they 11 men to the Fremen taking over their Ornithopter by using six Fremen as bait and having a dozen others hide in pre-prepared camouflage in the sand, the Sardaukar come in with the troop transport and use its lasgun so scour the area where the Ornithopter was obliterating all the concealed Fremen. Then when that Fremen suicide crashes into the troop transport, Sardaukar drop down from above the cave alcove where Thufir is hiding and kill his Fremen guide with a thrown knife before the Fremen can react.
