• The end of The White Road, which is written and framed in such a way that it seems that Angel and Louis are about to kill Faulkner, with the narration in the third person. Then the narration switches to the first-person and it's revealed that Parker was in fact there all along and had been the one describing the events, right as the three of them shoot the preacher in the head.
