  • Julius Belmont killing Dracula (for good) and sealing his castle inside a solar eclipse, even if this has yet to be seen.
    • And speaking of Julius, his boss battle is considered one of the series' high points. Special mention goes to the second phase of the fight in which he starts using Grand Cross, which not only does MASSIVE damage and pull Soma towards it, but actually causes Dracula's Castle to crumble apart in the background.
  • The awesome boss fight against Julius Belmont. He believes he needs to kill Soma to stop Dracula from being resurrected, so what does he do? Well, he whips out the trademark Vampire Killer, he throws the classic cross subweapons, he... summons a Grand Cross powerful enough to pull you towards it and cause the background to partially crumble? And after you beat him, Soma says Julius was holding back meaning he's even stronger?? And the fight is set to a cross between Don't Wait Until Night and Heart of Fire?!? Holy shit!
  • If you have a certain set of souls equipped when you fight Graham (the fake final boss), the powers Graham was trying to harness flow into you... and YOU... BECOME... DRACULA!! Then you get to fight Julius Belmont.
  • This game and the sequel can apply as enormous Shocking Moments after the big reveal - you're playing as Dracula.
  • The entire plot when the true ending is followed. Soma is revealed to be a reincarnation of Dracula, but makes full conscious effort to deny the darkness any hold over him. By the end of the game, assuming you completed it with 100% Souls, he's become more confident in himself as a person despite knowing what he is.
