** Jatice then gives Ferrod a brutal TheReasonYouSuckSpeech for underestimating humans too much since not only was Jatice able to find out the truth himself, but he also gave Ferrod's plan two setbacks and even being sent to another dimension doesn't bother him.

* After being hit by Glenn's attack, Azel barely clings on to life by turning himself back into a human. He then meets up with his minion Illia, who cuts his hand into many pieces. She then tells him a story of a horrible father who treats his daughters horribly and even tried to kill the younger one, who in turn ended up secretly working for him to get revenge on him for killing the older one later on. Azel completely terrified and under the realization who she is can only scream at the sight of Illia revealing herself as Aries Ignite and cutting him up.

** With Glenn's mental support, Eve calls out her father for using nobility and justice to hide his ugly ambitions as the worst villainous scum in history.

The result is an attack powerful enough to destroy the souls of pretty much anything including the Astral Lord they are facing which was stated to have a nearly invincible body.

* When Eve explains to everyone why Sistine is unable to attack Sakuya. Everyone feels sad and silent.... except for Glenn who in turn only laughs at this since the only reason she's like this is because of Shigure's mantra and decides to cheer her on by getting everyone's attention by shooting Extinction Ray into the ground and yell as hard as possible to her and even better is that this works!
* Sistine who now regained her fighting spirit charges the attack agains the opposing team. Supported by her teammates nothing can stop her, let it be Sakya's teammates, Shigure's mantra or even Sakuya's undead army which allows Alzano to gain one point and win the game.

* When Eve explains to everyone why Sistine is unable to attack Sakuya. Everyone feels sad and silent, except for Glenn who in turn only laughs at this since the only reason she's like this is because of Shigure's mantra and decides to cheer her on by getting everyone's attention by shooting Extinction Ray into the ground and yell as hard as possible to her nad even better is that this works!

* Glenn decides to get serious and actually teach Class 2 magic, and the first thing he does is telling them to their faces that they don't really know a thing about magic. One of the students basically retorts that's rich coming for a teacher who can't even cast the simple Shock Bolt spell in one verse, to which Glenn just smiles and goes into a lecture on how "simple" the Shock Bolt spell really is by tinkering with the MagicalIncantation in ways they had never considered before. The class soon have a bitter realization when they finally understand that they've been studying magic by rote, dutifully learning spell after spell without ever stopping to ''think'' how magic actually works, making them passable magic users but not at all ''mages'' by any stretch of the word.
** When teaching the class about Shock Bolt, Glenn shows he can cast it by simply saying "paralyze", albeit weaker. It shows that he could cast it faster than people think, and maybe lost on purpose to Sistine.

* Chased by several skeletons, Glenn decides to use it his strongest spell "Extinction Ray" and while he did use a catalyst to use it, it's still an impressive feed since the only other person who can use it is Celica Arfonia.

* Glenn holding his own against Zelos who despite his old age is considered a monster in strength since survived the war between Alzano and Rezalia years ago.

* Glenn, Sistine, Rumia and Re=L managed to widdle down the Lich to its last life with teamwork.

Realizing that the chance is very small, Glenn increases his chance of finding it by putting the contents of some bottles in himself instead of Nie since he considered it the safest way to save her. This was the result even Jatice couldn't predict and Glenn was even very close to getting the antidote which Jatice then gave to him since he considered the test worthless now.

Yet it's Glenn who managed to defeat him thanks to knowing all of Albert's abilities and techniques during their time working together and no, Glenn didn't have the full advantage, because Albert also knows all of Glenn's abilities and techniques and at the beginning of the fight they were 1000 meters apart. There is a reason why Albert considered Glenn his biggest threat and even Eve admitted that Glenn is probably the only one who could defeat Albert.

* Glenn finding out not only who sent the dragon to attack Sistine, but also how to locate him. He does this by realizing that the culprit's partner is a vampire based on the comments of his comrade. This allows him to find him through his body temperature which is the only thing he can't hide..
* Although it was later stated the dragon didn't try to kill her, Sistine still managed to keep the dragon busy long enough for Glenn to find the person controlling it and although she's slightly exhausted from it, she then goes to support her team and managed to defeat the opposing team's leader thus giving Alzano their victory.

* In order to help Glenn defeat Luna, Rumia's tries to summon the Silver Key to help him. In the end she managed to manifest a smaller key which allows her to stun Luna in place and give Glenn an opening to defeat her.

* It's often mentioned that Sisti is a gifted student, but her duel during the festival has a nice {{Subver|tedTrope}}sion of her InformedAbility status. She used the altered incantation of a wind spell to immobilize her opponent just like in the previous StoryArc -- no surprise there. However, she then added a single additional verse to the already actualized spell to change its behavior back into a fully offensive attack while giving the other duelist no time to counterattack. In other words, Sisti didn't just learn Glenn's lesson about altered incantations, she ''built upon it'' and found a way to {{Combo|s}}ing the two manifestations of the same spell into a [[CombatPragmatist sound and canny]] restrict'n'hit tactic that earned her the win and gave the title to her class.

** When teaching the class about Shock Bolt, Glenn shows he can cast it by simply saying "paralyze", albeit weaker. It shows tha he could cast it faster than people think, and maybe lost on purpose to Sistine.

* Glenn decides to get serious and actually teach class 2 magic. He first points out that everybody in the class doesn't know a thing about magic. When one of the students point out that he can't even cast a simple Shock Bolt spell in one phrase, he goes to give a lecture on the "simple Shock Bolt" spell. He points out the ''exact results'' that can happen when one alters the way the runic phrases of Shock Bolt are invoked, something that the students all thought were just random occurrences.
