After a few days of training in how to us the Light Prognosticus, the heroes set out for Castle Logan, with an incredibly fast spaceship from the supposedly "primative" planet Psyconia; it's a bit surprising to hear of a Mary Suetopia described this way.
Terra waits in her cell, anguished as she watches the universe being destroyed, knowing that she'll be next. She realizes that she can't simply be a normal girl, given that the Titans saw her, and while she made mistakes, she's not a bad person; the fic's certainly more forgiving of her than it is toward the actual heroes. She knows that she Must Make Amends, but doesn't know how.
Elsewhere, a pointless scene with Dr. Beljar spouting off someone else's dialogue clip about regeneration plays. It didn't serve any purpose, not even blatant Foreshadowing of his treachery.
The heroes reach the portal, and after an apparently rough trip (which consists of flashing and rotating pictures, they get through the Void to Castle Logan. They then disembark, and Raven is attacked by the beams, but Copy Cat protects her; I'm not sure whether it's because Mykan doesn't like her, or if it's his way of doing Ship Tease (see the final chapter for more). Castle Logan decides to deal with the intruders himself, lamenting how he deceived his minions. The heroes then enter through the front gate.
