BWTW Chapter 19: Ding, Dong, The Wizard's Dead

Written By: Thomas
POV: Third person'''

The author has yet another exchange with Jesus, but this time, Thomas actually makes a seemingly sincere apology to Noah.

An author's note follows, saying that a random 6'7" Prayer Warrior was the one who killed Dumbledore in the process, not Michael. While some people think that the author blundered his way into yet another Plot Hole by having Michael kill Dumbledore and come back in the next chapter (it wouldn't be the first), I actually don't see anything in the text saying that Michael actually was the one who died, even if he's the typical first-person narrator for Battle With The Witches.

The Prayer Warriors gather around Dumbledore's body, and "Thomas", kicking his head, plans to burn the body to ensure that Dumbledore is dead. Ebony, one of the few who actually got anything done, volunteers once again, but Michael says that the body is full of evil that could kill a woman, and plans to burn it along with Draco...

...or should I say, Harry Potter. Michael, having no way to make a fire that he can think of (one has to wonder how he would fare in the wilderness), has Harry use a fire spell to burn Dumbledore's body, since he's going to hell anyway, the strangest use of Bad Guys Do the Dirty Work that I've seen. Despite having no reason to want to help the Prayer Warriors, Harry complies. As Harry weeps over Dumbledore, Michael laughs, knowing that Harry will soon join him.

James 3:7 is quoted, and this time, there's an explanation. Unfortunately, it's not very well thought out, to put it mildly, applying the definition of "beast" to people, and saying "tamed" is similar to conversion. He goes off on an Islamophobic rant, and says that while Draco and Hermione have been tamed, Harry has not.

Romans 14:23 is quoted, with a simpler explanation. Harry Potter doubts God, ergo, he is going to Hell.

Deut 2:30 is quoted, but the author doesn't explain what the reference to hardening the pharaoh's heart means. It could, however, refer to the fact that Harry suddenly recovers, declares that he will not go down easily and teleports away. Ebony, however, is determined to defeat him, as she kicks Dumbledore's ashes around.

Next Installment: Michael and Harry fight a final battle to determine the fate of Hogwarts.
