BWTW Chapter 10: My Immortal Soul

Written By: Thomas
POV: Draco

The author's note this time is extremely short, only saying that it's from Draco's POV.

Draco introduces himself once again, describing Michael as the person who led him to Christianity, and as already his best friend. Draco now has a new purpose in life; to spread the teachings of Jesus and show everyone else that Anglicanism is evil.

Draco meets up with a "pretty grill", who has "golden white skin" and blonde hair tied back in a Christian manner and "limpid blue" eyes. She wears a modest green dress, being careful not to show her legs or make herself taller than any man.

They say hello, and Draco immediately asks her out to a date at a Jars of Clay concert in Portsmouth, apparently before learning her name; in addition to this being unrealistic behavior for getting a prospective date, Draco should know her name by now as a result of associating with the Christians.

They attend a concert, reminiscent of the one in Hogsmeade in My Immortal, only this time, they play Christian music(the aforementioned Jars of Clay, and Family Force Five). They read the Bible between the songs, and Ebony likes Dan Haseltine's singing, but doesn't find him as attractive as Draco. Draco and Ebony kiss "in a Christian manner," and go back to Hagrid's hut to kiss and read more of the Bible, but Draco points out that they didn't go any farther.

Not much happened in this chapter, but the My Immortal references got quite blatant; IHeartThomasBrown even included the dialogue from that scene in the MST.

Next Installment: Michael takes the time to show us the author's poorly translated Latin.
