MLLSD Omake 12: If At First You Don't Succeed...

Note': Omake 11 hasn't been translated yet. When I am able t read and liveblog the translation, it'll go up at some point after this chapter.

As you may recall, Chapter 24 was a movie in which Oarai, along with Ami and some of her comrades from the JGSDF fought against Araippe. Now, in the twelfth omake, comes the outtakes.

The omake begins with Miho doing her dramatic speech from the movie, only to falter after "Mankind's." Bloopers like this are quite amusing when they happen in dramatic moments, particularly long, dramatic and cliched speeches.

Saki does the scene in which she runs for Araippe, but trips, falls and rolls toward the camera.

Karina keeps messing up her lines about how the child "didn't take to anyone other than Saki." I've noticed that a lot of omakes focus on a specific line, like, "Parker, I don't pay you to be a sensitive artiste," from Spider-Man 2. Karina eventually does get it right, only to have to start over yet again when Miho walks off with her, mistaking her for Yukari.

As the History team escapes their tank, Saemonza does so without her skirt, and rises in spite of Erwin's warnings.

As Turtle Team is defeated, Duck Team seems to literally fly out of their tank, ready to continue the fight.

Darjeeling finds the outtakes hilarious, much to her friends' dismay, and wants to watch the "cast" and "military" commentaries.

A preview scene after the chapter shows characters from the Maginot, Ribbon Warrior and Little Army 2 spinoffs, and a message suggests that it's to promote those spinoffs. It might be nice to see them in MLLSD at some point, as it would perhaps breathe new life into it.

Next Installment: Bellwall has suffered a stroke of misfortune, but they're not out of the game yet.
