Before I did anything else, I sold the Black Helmet and the extra Moldy Cap. Our last party member can't equip them. After that, I did a bit of grinding and made both Paula and Jeff gain a level. Then I stocked up on healing items and bought two Psycho Pspirits. The next boss is really awful.
Now it's time to check out the last door in the building of courage. The bear is gone now, so you can enter.
Door #3
The first place you'll find yourself is the "Museum of Dead People." Head left and go upstairs. Go up to Dr. Andonuts and talk to him. He'll unblock the door, letting you pass.
You'll then be in a factory that looks a lot like the Belch Base. Be careful, there are some really strong enemies here!
Psycho Psource - Some kind of pink spirit thing. It's weak against ice, fire, and Timestop. It can use Sleepstun and Lightning.
Uberhaunt - A palette swap of the Monster. Word of God called it the "idiot killer." It has high attack and defense, and can use Flame Beta. However, it is weak against everything. It's best to Timestop it and drain some of its PP. Jeff's HP Sucker works well against it. Drops Pumpkin Loaves.
Vladula - Some kind of vampire with a tie. It always starts out the battle asleep. When it wakes up, it likes to use PSI attacks like Brainshock. It's best to try and drain its PP before it wakes up. Jeff's HP Sucker works well against it. It's strong against fire and ice, however.
Go right to a door. Go inside, and check the trash for a Gold Watch. I equipped it on Jeff.
Go back outside and go down the ladder. Then go to the left and go down another ladder. Go inside the door to find two trash cans containing a pair of Nerd Glasses (equip them on Jeff) and a Hawaiian Pizza.
Go back outside and go up the ladder. Keep heading left until you find another ladder. Go up and go right into a room. The trash cans in here contain a Vital Capsule (I used it on Paula), the Caledfwlch (equip it on Varik. I swear, I've heard that name somewhere before), and the Sol Armor (equip it on Varik).
Go back outside and go down the ladder. The door south of you contains Magic Butterflies; you can recover your PP in here if you want to. Then carry on left some more until you reach a big open doorway.
In the next room is another Instant Revitalizing Device and a phone. Use both, then continue on into the next room.
You'll "drop down" into the Cave of the Past in the Present. Follow the path to find the Phase Distorter. Examine it to fight the next boss.
Boss: Phaze Destrortur
It's a fucked-up Phase Distorter! If you can't tell by its sparks, it can use Lightning attacks. Have Varik use the Psycho Pspirit immdiately. I had Paula use PSI Freeze Beta (she learns it at Level 11) and Jeff use the HP Sucker (it's especially weak against it). I had Varik attack normally or heal. This guy's a bit pain in the ass, so don't be surprised if you have to try several times. I got lucky when I beat it thanks to Paula freezing it.
After the boss is defeated, you'll find yourself in a Devil's Machine-looking room. Talk to Dr. Andonuts, and he'll start beating himself up, talking about how he's never done anything right (he even mentions the Absolutely Safe Capsule). Then he starts freaking out about memories he shouldn't be having.
Then the screen goes black, and the last Courage starts talking. It explains that when Giygas was defeated, an Alternate Timeline was created. After the final battle, the souls of Ness and his friends wound up in the new timeline instead. They're not dead at all, but they can't return to the correct timeline either. We now need to go to the Sea of Eve and confront Dr. Andonuts.
Magicant
You'll be dumped out your usual spot in Magicant, this time with your final party member, Poo. He's at Level 8 and comes with a Tiny Ruby (does nothing, as far as I know) and a Bottle of Water (recovers 10 PP for Poo only). He knows Freeze and Lightning Alpha, Lifeup Alpha and Beta, Cleanse Alpha and Beta, PSI Magnet Alpha, and Barrier Alpha, Sigma, and Beta. He can't equip anything, but we'll be quickly finding him some equipment. For now, I sold my old equipment, rested, and saved.
