Go To

It's been so long! Today I return to playing this right where I left off... Well, actually not quite. In order to save the game, I left Gothita as he was, and once I figured out a name, I went back to the Name Rater in whatever that metropolis down south is. Gothita's new name? Onigiri!

Well that was odd. I loaded my game in the name rater's house, and it told me it was Autumn. I left, and it turned to Winter. Oh well. Time to explore the places which were covered with leaves earlier then. (...even though I bet they'll now instead be covered with snow. >_>)

Interesting! Instead of them being covered in snow, now they're just shallow pits. It's rather odd that piles of leaves would allow for more mobility than mounds of snow might have. No matter; back to training!

To the west of the latest city is... a bunch of people blocking the way. To the east is... Lostlorn Forest. Exploring time~

Oh. Wait. First up is catching a Pokemon. Almost forgot that after how long it's been. The first one I see is a Roselia, which I catch, and decide to name it Tisane (aka. herbal tea). Now back to exploring. Well now. That was odd. This place was short, but at the end was a guy who after talking about Zoroark, became one (or rather, revealed itself to be one). Didn't explain why it stopped doing what it had been doing two years prior though.

After healing in the city once more, I continue eastward, and - surprise, surprise - am unable to continue further, thanks to a broken elevator.

I guess I'll go to the gym then, now that I've done everything else I can except grinding.

Heh. In front of the Ferris Wheel now, instead of the Hiker, is a guitarist who likes how Mei is wearing clothes as poorly suited to winter. She also wants to battle, like the Hiker, but I beat her Whirlipede easily. Also like the Hiker, she invites me into the ride, but at least it isn't creepy when her excuse is that she wants to give me a preview of her new song.

Back to the gym...

...Where Onigiri fainted against an Elekid's Electro Ball. Not fun. After beating the foe, I head back to a PC and swap in Tisane, who thankfully has a resistance to Electric while not being bad against it (unlike Haggis, although Pica now has a decent Steel attack at least).

Also considering how the Pokemon in the gym were level 27 so far, I head back out to grind mine who are only ~25. It's a bit short, but... Later, peeps.
