I hate this mission. An endless grind against only three types of enemies, one of which is a pallete swap of the other. Plus, I usually play as a Vanguard, and there's a glitch in ME2 which occasionally prevents Shepard from moving if s/he Biotic Charges a Husk.

The Normandy arrives at the Derelict Reaper and finds a geth ship parked there. However, the geth have nothing to do with the disappearance of the Cerberus scientists studying the Reaper. It turns out that the Reaper is comatose, not dead, and it still has the ability to indoctrinate. The Reaper indoctrinated the scientists into turning themselves into Husks. And there were a shitload of scientists.

The only thing of note that happens on this mission is that a geth snipes some Husks that were attacking Fail Shep and utters the phrase "Shepard-Commander", which is unusual since geth rarely communicate at speeds perceptable to other species.

Fail Shep retrieves the Reaper IFF, but the Reaper puts up a barrier that prevents the Normandy from picking him up. Fail Shep destroys the Reaper's core and retrieves the geth, who was damaged by Husks.

Why would you charge a Husk? The best thing to deal with them is that shockwave power; it one-shots them in a line. Save the charge for dangerous things.

Charging restores shields, which comes in handy since Husks are usually accompanied by more dangerous enemies. I also usually don't put many points in Shockwave since I find its usefulness to be too situational.
