A warrior never rests on a minication!

9/21 Monday 13 days until Full Moon

Mmm. All stiff. Ugh. Where's that laptop. Take a look at it...

...It's Monday. And judging by the news, storm's over. Yeesh. My hard sleeping seems to have caught up. Then again, I was feeling ill Friday. Was it Friday? Bleh. Anyway's, feeling good and today is Respect for the Aged Day. But since it's Monday, I can't visit Bunkichi and Mitsuko even if I wanted to. Bleh. Maiko.

Hmm? Another recording. And it was yesterday. Hmm...OH GOD IT'S ME! Heavy sleeper so this should be...oh god no. Aigis no. Why in the hell are you keeping track of unlocking my door!? So...she's taking care of me. Pillow is a bit much. And...yeah, I guess people would be nervous about me. Field leader and... Minako stopped herself. ...I have friendships with most of the team. I'm more than that aren't I?

...why is Aigis going back? Oh great. I've got me a stalker. WHY!?

“The physical condition of a fighter is very important,” Akihiko told Minako. “No matter how strong you are, if you don't feel well, you won't last long in the ring.”

...sounds about right for Akihiko-senpai.

“Oh, you seem to be feeling better,” Yukari said to Minako. “Why don't you go get some fresh air? It's really nice out.”

“Actually planning on it.”

“Are you feeling okay, Senpai?” Ken asked of Minako. “You should take today to rest.”

Two conflicting ideas here. Going out anyway.

“They say idiots never get sick,” Junpei told Minako. “That means...since you got sick, that makes you smart! Good for you! Take it easy.”

I think it's mostly acknowledging you are sick and taking the time off for it. Which doesn't count for my monster sleeps.

Oh god.

“Good morning. I am here to monitor the condition of your health,” Aigis told Minako. “Your temperature, pulse and breathing have all returned to normal. Congratulations on surviving your illness.”

What? It's not like the end of the world would happen if I die.

“How are you feeling?” Mitsuru asked Minako.

“I feel fine now.”

“Then, let's explore Tartarus.”

Eh. Hold off until we get those other rescues. And I have a feeling there will be more.

“I'm glad you're feeling better now,” Fuuka said to Minako. “But don't be careless, or you might get sick again.”

Please. The only thing that could sicken me is Tartarus! Well, and a rainstorm.

“Caught a little cold, huh? Glad to see you're feeling better,” Shinjiro told Minako.

Oh Shinjiro. Never change.

“Hi. I'm Trish, with today's installment of 'Who's Who.' Our subject today is a girl in her 20s with a very original, short hairstyle. She studied overseas, and speaks fluent English. She's as intelligent as she is beautiful! Next is news. Pain, pain, go away!”

Hmm...I think I recognize her but I don't remember where...hmm...acquaintance of...oh shit. Need to write a letter ASAP.

...Which is after Maiko.

“Hey! You have today off right? I have to go to cram school...but I'm not going. Will you play with me?”

“Sure thing.” Vasuki brought Minako closer to the Hanged Man.

“That storm was ginormous! I couldn't keep away from the window,” Mako said as they took turns on the slide. “But Mom kept yelling at me to get away from them. She said it wasn't safe.” Maiko frowned a bit. “Ah! But I decided to put off running away during the summer. I didn't know how long I could have lasted out there alone. Then again...I guess extra water would have helped.”

Oh yeah...running away plan. Geez, it's been ages.

Koromaru barked happily at Minako as she returned. “Oh you want to go out for a walk boy? Let me get a few things settled first.”

“I'm glad you weren't sick for very long,” Fuuka told Minako. “It's most likely because you rested for two days straight.”

“Yeah, I kinda tend to do that when I get sick.”

“While you were resting, a typhoon passed through town,” Aigis informed Minako. “Not much damage was incurred. There is nothing else to report.”

“How are you feeling? Still a little sniffly?” Yukari asked. “Just because you're a lot better now doesn't mean you should push yourself. Oh yeah... I bought you some gelatin. Feel free to have some. You should eat things that are easy to digest since you've only just gotten better.”

Meh. I'll probably eat out tomorrow.

“Dude, that typhoon was crazy! Everything was flying through the air,” Junpei told Minako. “Well, not everything, I guess. I mean, I didn't see a ramen stand flying through the air.” He sighed. “I wish I could've seen that.”

...shouldn't be surprised.

“That was a pretty big typhoon. I bet a lot of buildings were destroyed,” Ken said to Minako. “Yukari-san and Fuuka-san were really scared during it. Were you scared during it too, Minako-san?”

“You forget, I slept right through it.”

“Oh, that's right...”

Minako made a quick trip to the Velvet Room, fusing Mothman and Ganga together for Hanuman.

'Strength – Hanuman A hero of Hindu descent. He can transform into anything, fly and has great strength. He performed many heroic deeds in the Ramayana. He is depicted as a monkey.

Dear Maya,

Sorry if this gets to you a little bit late. I was sick during the weekend. And you know how I get when I get sick. Monster sleeps.

Also, sorry that this is going to be a bit brief. The dorm dog is eagerly pawing at my leg and he wants to go out for a walk. And I'm the only one who wants to do it tonight.

But things have been rather calm. Other than the fact that I've been strangely alarmed about the relationship between two of my dormmates. Sorry I can't tell you more about it now but...what do you recommend I should do?

Gotta go! Koromaru is getting impatient!

Love, Minako.

...and finally returned to Koromaru, who was quite eager for the walk. Hanuman brought Minako closer to the Strength.

The two headed out to the Shrine, where they found Mr. Ono. “Amano, is that your dog!?

“Well, he lives at the dorm...”

“Can I borrow him? You'll let me, right? Please! Just lend him to me!”

“Um...what for?”

“I lost something important! Dogs are great at looking for stuff! Now listen here...a warlord of the Sengoku era didn't think dogs as pets but...

Oh great. But he does seem to need Koromaru's help...evidently.

Koromaru gave a small bark to Minako. “Can you do it, boy?” He barked enthusiasticly which Mr. Ono took as a sign that he would help. He told Minako that he would even let her know a bit what was on the test. He then told her he lost a Memory Stick and explained what it is to Koromaru. “I don't care about the data on it. It's just stupid things like test questions, but it's important to me.”

Uh...that would be a lot of work to lose.

He shoved his helm into Koromaru's nose, who was looking very annoyed at this point. “I'm pretty sure I lost it around here. C'mon. I'm counting on you, Inuchiyo.”

“Don't give him new names,” Minako said harshly to Mr. Ono.

“Don't tell me you don't know Toshitsune Maeda!”

Minako sighed and began tuning out the lecture as Koromaru began sniffing around. He caught the scent and headed up the shrine and onto the playground. He dug...and found something like a katana, elating Mr. Ono for that was...what it was?

“You said it was a Memory Stick.”

“It IS a memory stick! Look!” He pulled out the Katana...and it only an end to a memory stick instead of a blade.

“See! Look there! It's the family crest. I had it specifically made! If it was wrong I wouldn't have been able to sleep at night. And I've been invited to a wedding so I couldn't go unarmed.”

“I-indeed.”

“Oh, so you understand? Really?” He continued praising Minako for a bit and then noted kids must have found it and played with it.

Oh yeah! I thought that was a bit odd for a play sword. Heh, Maiko sure had fun it with though.

He then told her what would be on the test...the Sengoku Period.

Bleh. That's nothing at all. He finally left.

Koromaru barked. Minako smiled happily at him. “We did help him out.”

Aww. He looks so happy. Must be pleased with helping someone else.

He whined a little bit and sneezed. Minako figured the sand got into his nose. The two walked a bit more, a fourth Strength card appearing before Minako as she headed in the dorm.

9/22 Tuesday 12 days until Full Moon

Cell phone! Anyone I want to hang out with?

But it turned out to be Theo, informing her two more people were trapped in Tartarus.

Great. Perfect. Minako sighed. Rio then called right after. Minako apologized and said she had plans. Since I can't study tonight, I'll eat out at the restaurant and get those brain juices flowing.

“The sky is clear and blue again. Everyone with laundry out on the line can rest assured that it'll be dry by afternoon. And now, a missing persons report. Aki Kurobe, a junior at Gekkoukan High School, and Yasunobu Shimozono (44), an office worker in Minato-ku have gone missing within a short time span between them. Police are searching for cluse that may lead them to understanding what happened to them.”

Minako looked over to Fuuka. “Rescue mission tomorrow,” she simply informed.

“Tartarus and the Dark Hour are still here, huh...” Shinjiro mused. “Dammit...Why won't they just disappear?”

...Shinjiro-senpai...

Whatwhatwhatwhat WHAT!? Wakatsu is too crowded!? It's a Tuesday afternoon! It's also a holiday, Minako. She sighed. Welp, only one thing to do.

Minako worked hard at the theater, showing people around and even snuck in to see the movie. The people noticed her comfort with the job and gave her a slight raise.

6000 yen richer!

Mitsuru welcomed Minako back into the dorm. She headed upstairs to find the juniors talking. “So what's up?”

Junpei chimmed up. “I wished the typhoon was on our side. Maybe it could blow a ramen stand into a Shadow and kill it with the hit! Wouldn't that be awesome!?”

He earned everyone's stares at that.

“Uh...Aigis. Thoughts?”

“We have captured Strega's support specialist, Chidori. Next mission, it is highly probable that they will be unable to determine our location.”

“Right... Having someone like that makes a big difference,” Yukari noted. “It's hard to interfere if you don't know where to go.”

“But, be careful, just in case,” Fuuka reminded them. “The other two seem dangerous...”

“Yeah...and we know so little about them... Be prepared guys,” Minako said. “So anyway, what's up Yukari.”

“Only three Shadows left. I bet they're gonna be tough,”

“Perhaps. We should train in Tartarus as much as we can,” Aigis reminded.

“Well, we are going there tomorrow, at least. Fuuka? Any thoughts?”

“Well, I've been wondering what would happen if the Dark Hour disappears. I figure we'll lose our Persona abilities and return to our daily lives but, we won't be the same as we were before. Thanks to all the experiences we gained fighting together, we'll all live richer, fuller lives.”

One, Maya still has her Persona, as far as we both know. Not that she'll ever use it... And two, why do I not believe it will be that simple.

“Anyway, I'm heading up to bed. Night.”

9/23 Wednesday 11 days until Full Moon

If I remember right...there is a film festival today. Time to pester Shinjiro into going!

“Hey, Senpai! There's a Film Festival today! Wanna go?”

“Huh. I totally forgot that they had those. Not that I've ever been to one.”

“Well come on! Let's go.”

“Wouldn't you have more fun if you went with one of your girl friends?” He was silent for a bit but... “...Well I don't care if you don't. Let's go then.”

He's happy. I certain of that.

Incredible Pets! Yeah, it's kinda kiddy but heck, MOVIES!

“Are we...really watching this?” He seemed a bit stunned. “Well...if this is what you really want, I guess I'm game too.”

The film was actually pretty interesting. It focused on cute, small animals surviving in a cruel cruel world. The badass Minako appreciated their strength.

“...The river...It just...washed that dog away...”

Was Senpai crying? My goodness! Totally breaking his bad-boy appeal.

“I...gotta go.”

“Hello Ikutsuki.”

“Are you feeling any better Minako-kun? I was going to inquire earlier, but I thought you might be 'sick' of everyone asking you if you're sick.”

“I'm fine thanks.”

“That's good to hear. Please take care of yourself. AH-CHOO!”

Don't get me sick again.

“Ikutsuki-san's here. Still cracking those lame jokes, I bet,” Shinjiro said.

“Yep.”

“His jokes are the worst. So lame.”

“Fuuka! Tartarus, tonight!”

Dark Hour

Might as well train Ken, Junpei and Mitsuru some more. No reason not to, as far as I know.

Minako headed into the Velvet Room. She got informed that a person was in between Floors 130 and 135. She refused and reregisetered Samuel. She then fused Virtue and Hanuman together for Seiryuu.

Seiryuu – Temperence One of the Ssu-Ling, celestial creatures in Chinese myth. It represents the direction east, the season of spring, and the element of wood.

Floor 131

Well this has been rather quiet. Just gaining some Personas back and...

“There's someone on this floor. Find them please!”

And there it is.

And it was an easy find for Ken. After a fight with some Elegant Mothers and an Arcane Turrent Killer Drive combo, they were out.

“M-M-Mitsuru-senpai! You saved me from certain death!” The girl said.

“It was nothing, really. Besides it was the effort of the team that lead to our success.”

“So modest! Oh I could just faint with happiness.”

“Uh...right,” Minako said. “I'm just going to check on something and then we'll be back in.”

Floor 137

Annnnnd, Fuuka's alert for the missing person. Well, that was short.

It turns out that he was just next to the team. “Hey, why am I getting rescued by some punk.”

“Yeah, yeah.” Junpei said, barely contained. “Let's just get yourself down.”

“Huh? What's going on here?” Minako said as she got to the enterence.

“The girl fainted,” Akihiko bluntly reported. “Said something about Mitsuru being so dreamy and then just...swooned.”

“Yeah, I think I recognize this girl,” Yukari noted. “She tends to hang around the student council classroom.”

“Pffth. Kids these days. See, everyone you admire always turns out to be someone different when you actually meet them. Just get used to disappointment kids.”

Minako sighed. “Let's just go home everyone.”

@Pulse Thank you! Hopefully I'll get them more out regularly. Especially with college coming up.

@Arrow Actually, I don't know if that's true. That's just me guessing and speculating. Also, totally.

It's fun being able to verbalize my comments about this entry rather than typing them out here, but hey, why not both? Another great update, honey. Nice to make sense of all you random murmurings as you play by reading the update once you're done.
