9/8 Saturday Full Moon
“Good morning!” Fuuka welcomed Minako at the front gate. “There's a full moon tonight.”
“Leave it to me!”
“That's nice to hear. I was getting worried because it's so soon after summer vacation.”
Well, no time to enjoy the afternoon, I have a battle to psyche myself up for!
...not that I was going to bring him into battle tonight, but where is Junpei? He was so eager to fight tonight...I don't like this. I don't like this at all.
Dark Hour
Almost everyone was at the command room, with the exception of Ken and Junpei, as Ken was looking for the absent Junpei. Ikutsuki asked Fuuka if she found a Shadow and she said yes. It was in Paulownia Mall, she uncertainty said, saying she can't quite find the location. Shinjiro encouraged the group to go on.
Ken then reappeared, saying he couldn't find Junpei, noting that thanks to his backpack not being here he probably wasn't home yet.
“That idiot. He knows tonight's the night!” Yukari said angerly.
“I don't sense him anywhere nearby,” Fuuka reported to the group. “Should I take more time to look for him, just in case?”
“No, it's okay,” Ikutsuki said to her. “You're all young; sometimes you just get in one of those moods. Anyway, we should focus on the task at hand.”
Hmm...
The team began to left but before Minako could leave, Shinjiro stopped her. “Wait, did he say anything earlier?”
“Not that I remember.”
“Alright.”
Well, even he suspects something's off. At least we agree on that.
Geez! It kinda hits you how horrible this time is when the fountain has blood flowing.
Fuuka was having trouble finding the Shadow, being faint but also close. Mitsuru ordered the group to split up and search with the limited time they had.
“Wait!” Fuuka said, stopping them. “Please give me a moment! This is my responsibility!” She then doubled down and focused. “Tell me, Lucia. What is this thing that deceives me? Hear the wind's answer in your ear...touch the earth's answer with your fingertips...taste the water's answer on your lips.”
“Hey, is she okay?” Akihiko asked.
“Don't break her concentration.” Mitsuru warned.
“Right beneath our feet...some kind of...webbing?”
“Perhaps it has something to do with the old power cables underground. They were just left there when the island's construction was completed.”
Wait? Hmm...didn't they need a lot of power for those experiments? Hmm...
“Power cables?” Mitsuru asked.
“Yes, they run underground in many directions, like a web.”
“And they are interfering with her ability?” Akihiko asked.
“Thank you, Aigis. I understand now. Interference isn't the problem. The cables themselves have been possessed by the Shadow!”
“They what?” Yukari exclaimed. “So...it's underneath this whole area!?”
Well, these Shadows are getting better and better at self-preservation.
“This is a problem. We have no means of attacking it,” Mitsuru noted.
“In your notes from previous battles, it said a Shadow took control of the monorail. Just like that one, this Shadow must have it's own body. Let me see if I can find it.” She refocused.
Akihiko did muse on the fact they might not be able to get to the Shadow but Aigis said there could be a structure that feeds into the cables. Fuuka then found the Shadow, within the mall even! “It's inside a small chamber underground. It's rectangular, so I assume it's man-made.”
“Is it some sort of room?” Ken asked.
Wait a minute.” Shinjiro started. “I overheard the manager of Escapade. He was saying that the power's been acting up lately. There was a power outage because of it that caused him to cancel some big important event.”
Oh! That concert by Risette! Of course. Why didn't I think of this?
“He said the control panel is located beneath the club. Maybe we should take a look.”
“That's it!”
“Good job, Yamagishi. Alright, once we're ready, we'll make our move!”
“Okay, Ken, Koromaru and Shinjiro, you guys are with me.” Minako spotted Ken giving a few glances over the Shinjiro as she announced the order. “Okay, then, let's head into the club.”
Huh. Right on the dance floor. Hooray for us.
“That's the source! It's connected to all those cables so be careful you don't get shocked!”
And here's where I'm happy both Yukari and Aigis are not necessary for this fight. I should switch to Kusi Mitama, it's strong against Electric attacks while not being reliant on electric moves.
Minako pulled Rakunda on this while the rest of the group struke as hard as they could against it. The Shadow then began to charge up power.
“You know what? Bold opportunity. Let's attack!” The team continued to strike the Shadow with all of their force, Shinjiro even getting an all-out-attack for the team! However, they weren't prepared for the Shadow shocking them all, nearly draining them of all of their health.
“Alright. Three turns. Ngh. Know this now.” She pulled out Sati to heal up the team a bit. The attacks continued against the Shadow and it charged up again.
“Anyone else think this Shadow is suicidal? We get two free turns here!” Minako grinned and lowered the Shadow's defense down again, allowing everyone to attack at their hardest, with Shinjiro finally defeating the Shadow.
“Congratulations, I no longer sense its presence,” Fuuka said to the group. “Oh, and also I think I found Junpei. He's back the dorm but something seems strange. The Chairman's there too, so he should be okay, but let's hurry back just in case.”

“What the heck-!?” Minako said as she saw Junpei held at axe-point by a...
Gothic lolita! Ugh, I should have known.
“Tch. They're back already!?” the girl said in disbelief.
Mitsuru gasped. “She's a Persona-user!?” she said, noticing her evoker. The girl began to summon her Persona but just as she was about to...
“Chidori stop!” Junpei tackled her down to the ground forcing her to drop her evoker. “Senpai, get her gun!”
“No! Give it back!!”
Akihiko picked it up. “Sorry, but we can't let you use this.” The Chairman just got up to the roof, surprised by all this. Mitsuru ordered Aigis to restrain Chidori who was extremely distressed at losing access to Medea.
“I...I didn't sense her up until this very moment. This is my only power and yet..” Fukka upsettingly said.
“If even Fuuka couldn't sense her, then she must have some sort of power to conceal her presence. I didn't have even the slightest clue she was here,” Ikutsuki said.
Mitsuru began to try to interrogate her but she was still very upset. Mitsuru said they would let her rest and interogate her later.
Junpei...he looks so...heartbroken. Ugh, I hope I don't have to feel that.
