The Tower, in the Upright position
Calamity and Misfortune.
The Moon, in the Upright position
Hesitation... And Mystery.
...
Was it all just a dream?
...
No. Dreams don't ever, ever feel so REAL.
Dreams don't have such a clear feel to their fabric, such passion in their song...
And I don't ever have dreams about long-nosed fortune tellers with blonde assistants.
A place in the between...
Dojima was nice enough, if a bit distant, and, as shy as she was, Nanako seemed like a sweet kid.
But that gas station attendant seemed a bit too... Friendly.
He... She? It was hard to tell...
They insisted on shaking hands, and, for just a split second, Yu felt a strange tingle, like a tiny static zap.
Upon arriving in his new home, Yu went through an awkward dinner with his new... Family, he supposed, before crashing on his futon, still surrounded by boxes, exhausted from the long trip.
Fog, as far as the eye could see.
"Do you seek the truth...?"
Ah, another not-dream...
"If it's truth you desire, come and find me..."
As thick as the fog was, Yu could barely- Just BARELY- Follow a strange, cubic path towards a bizarre door.
"So you are the one pursuing me... Hmhmhm... Try all you like..."
A faint human figure taunted him...
Suddenly armed with a blade- It wasn't important how, not at the moment- Yu struck out at the apparition.
"Hmmm... It seems you can see a little, despite the fog..."
Another strike!
"I see... Indeed, you possess an interesting quality..."
And another blow!
"But... You will not catch me so easily... If what you seek is 'truth', then your search will be even harder..."
The fog deepens...
"Everyone sees what they want to..."
And deeper still it grows...
"...Will we meet again...? At a place other than here... Hmhm... I look forward to it..."
