The Team had gathered in the Entrance of the World Inside the TV...
"So, you wanted to see the power of Junes' new idol, huh, Nao-chan?"

"Senpai? Another powerful Shadow's hanging around... It's where Naoto-kun was... It might have nothing to do with the murders, but I'm worried..."
Naoto adjusted her glasses and faintly smiled to Yu.
"You've all done so much for me. I look forward to helping you solve this case."
Yu nodded.
"Everybody, let's get going!"
Naoto shivered slightly as the Team approached the Secret Base...
"I... I suppose we would have to return here to train, wouldn't we?"
"There are other areas, but this is where Rise is detecting the strongest presence. We go somewhere else, if we need to, though."
Naoto shook her head to Yu. blushing slightly.
"I'll be fine. Don't worry about me.
"You know, I've been thinking ever since you guys rescued me... But it's an amazing thing to be able to save people like this. You guys rule, Senpai!"
Rise giggled a little...
"Come, Sukuna-Hikona!"
Naoto's tiny Persona manifested as she shot her card with her pistol. It flew forward in a flurry of slashes from the comparatively immense sword it wielded,

She put one hell of a dent in it, though... She's having almost as easy a time getting used to Persona as me...
Yosuke had managed to get himself and Yu alone in a corner of a control room while the Team took a short break...
"I gotta say, Yu... Thanks for being there for me."

"Yeah. Anytime."
Yukiko laughed a little, having quietly walked over while the two were talking.
"It's so nice to see a good friendship between boys."
Yosuke looked up.
"Y'know, I hear girls say that a lot... Is it different for you and Chie?"
"Mmm... I think it's a little different. But don't think our friendship is any less strong than yours!"
I dunno... You two seem to be kinda... Stop, Yu. That's not polite at all!
"Come forth!"
Naoto summoned her Persona, which traced a sigil in the air before engulfing a Shadow in a purple-black image of the motions,

Causing it to dissolve into fog...

Chie wavered unsteadily, looking baffled at the area-
"Chie!"
Yukiko ran over and slapped the Chariot.
"Snap out of it!"
"Agh!... Wh-wh-what!?"
... Huh. Why didn't I think of that?
... What.
Yu twiddled one of his new Persona cards between his fingers, slightly shocked at the appearance of that part of his psyche...
... Belphagor, Prince of Sloth... Why a toilet? Compared to that-
"Ah... Your Ganesha knows

Well, he does have an elephant's head...

As Yu left the Velvet Room, a ninth Empress card appeared before him...
The Fox had somehow worked its way deep into the Secret Base. The team decided to take a break in the room it had settled itself in. Yu and Teddie opened their cans of soda next to the animal...
"Hah... X-Rays couldn't do the trick, either... I wonder what I am... And I wonder what Foxy-chan is..."
The Fox stared at Teddie, dumbfounded...
... Actually, I'm kinda wondering now, too...
Yu placed a few yen notes next to the Fox. It yipped, grabbed the money in its mouth, and left, leaving a set of healing leaves behind...
"The forms Personas take really do differ from person to person, huh, Chie? I was surprised when I saw Naoto-kun's... It's kinda cute, isn't it?"
Chie nodded slightly as the two girls chatted away...
... Yukiko, never change that part of yourself.
"That's the one, Senpai! Got get 'em! I know you can do it!"
Yu nodded as the attack team moved in-
Another psych-tank thing, huh?
"Senpai! I'll handle this one, but I'll need a little time!"
Naoto's Persona engulfed them both in a pale blue aura-
Mind Charge.
"Same here, Yu!"
Chie's Persona did much the same, though aura was purple instead, her muscles tensing somewhat-
Power Charge.
"Alrighty, then! Take this!"
Kanji's Take-Mikazuchi struck wildly but cleanly, in a
Mighty Swing.
The Shadow unleahed a horrible wave of noxious energy,
Virus Wave,
but it seemed relatively weak...
Yu managed a quick strike with his sword, before Naoto summoned a tremendous
Megidola
and Chie piled on with a
Black Spot,
blasting back.
"And one from me!"
Yu summoned Lachesis, who measured a bit of string as a fierce
Garudyne
knocked the Shadow down.
"All right! We strike now!"
The Team moved in and pummeled on it viciously. It wasn't long after that the fight was over...
Naoto noticed a handgun on the operating table her Shadow had set up...
"Hmm... The bumps on its surface form a braille word... 'Algernon'? What a strange choice for a literary reference..."
... Come to think of it, how does Naoto manage to keep a pistol on her? Her family's not an official part of the police force... Grandfather clause, maybe?
The Team left soon after.
That night, Yu went to bed a little early...
