In which, the school is a maze of hurting proportions

Now then, last time we entered a suspicious machine and traveled seemingly back in time but not. What is going on in this school of crazy? Let us explore more shall we!

Right next door in the Principal's Office gives us the first sign that things are wrong. Horribly wrong. OUR JACKASS VICE-PRINCIPAL IS NICE! AHHHHHHHH! -wanders into the next room- Yukino doesn't remember anything! AHHHHHH! -runs away- A girl...has a crush on a guy. Huh. Wait...I think that was in the same room as someone who was gushing about Reiji. AHHHHHHH! Yuko's a Rich Bitch! AHHHHHH! Maki and Chisato are still art students! And Chisato is missing! SHE IS MISSING AGAIN! AHHHHHH! The student council president is a nice and reasonable leader! AHHHHHHH!

-runs up and down the floors screaming, finally slamming against the wall-

Ow.

Okay. Deep breath. There is one room left. Surely nothing crazy will be in it.

In class 2-5, we find an injured boy, Yosuke, who if you all remember went awol along with Chisato. He explains that this is a different reality, with the biggest changes being a forest where the police station was and a castle where the hospital is. Also, the Maki who we have in our party is the Maki of this world. Not too long after this talk, the girl in black then decides to take the exits away. For what purpose does this nefarious little brat want to do this? Hmm. Anyway, let's head on out. Seriously our school is in it's nice original structure right? Right?

Wrong. Huston. We have a dungeon. Ah well. Hey, the Velvet Room is right nearby so let's see about those Personas! Nanjo is able to take on Urvashi now but Mark's not at the level to take on Gozu-Tennoh yet. Ah well. Personally, I would swap out the older Persona's for new ones but I know Maso needs to be kept for the convenience of Dia. Trust me on that one. So we have that. Ironcially enough, now we have a lot of teen-level Persona's to fuse. Well since we only have so many slots for cards and will be facing new demons, lets do some fusion! Our first fusion gives us Phaleg of the Judgement Arcana, good compatibility with everyone and our next is Sati of the Pristess Arcana, which learns Dia and Diarama and Recarm (this one's a keeper!) and is Best compatibility with Maki. Then comes Quetzalcoatl (and you wonder why I stick to refering them with the X Persona when they rank up) of the World Arcana which has a Best compatibility with Nat, Nanjo and Mark. KEEPER! The only one that we can take on at the moment is Quetzalcoatl for Mark but....I'm going to designate that one for Nanjo since Mark can take on Gozu-Tennoh. So, one sending away of...Nat's intial persona later and gaining a Strengh Increase, we head on out to the unknown!

Of which, we promptly get attacked from the behind. Ah well, Maki Persona learns Mabufu so that's good. Along with Mark's getting it's Max Rank. Maybe I should have given him that Persona. And now I realize that Lilm seems to be strong against all magic...expect Hama. Good job Nanjo!

Right next door is the Nurse's office where Nanjo asks the same question as I, what does the girl in black want to do with the school. Save Tree here and so we head off. And nearly get killed off by a back attack! With Nanjo and Maki barely hanging on, we do our best to hunt for an eager contact. We manage to contact two of the three away, leaving us with only Orge to take down. Strong to the Elements, I use guns to take him down. It worked out well, with Maki up to level 18 and Nanjo up to level 16. (Oh Nanjo and your lag)

We head into another section, where we get to another classroom quite easily. -whew- The room only contains a panicking girl. Ah well. What time is it supposed to be anyway? Our next round of contacting is much less stressful, gaining an Athymist, Nat experence and a Turquoise. Also, strangely enough, we get to the next room without a battle. Okay then. There is a guy who says that the is another girl like the one in black who lives in the forest that was once a flower garden. Alright. Wonder if there are still flowers in it. Our next battle is going to prove how handy Mazio is going to be for us. Remember this people! If you have to fight a toilet, use skills of light! One save tree later and we head off!

After climbing some stairs we are besieged by Nekomata's which are proving useful in my Devil Survivor game I'm also playing on. And some contatcting let's us gain a Aquamarine from them! Nat's charms work well on the famed cat-demons. Overstepping makes us fall down to the floor behind us because I had a feeling and it said to get Nat to his next level. (He's at 1 EXP left) And now looking at the analysis makes me realize...those toilets have the same self-scaraficing skill as those Mov Shuvuu's! Grr... Anyway, the battle was quite easy as the enemies froze up with repeated use of Mabufu. Both Nat and Mark gained levels up to 18. So good is good. Geez, those Orge's are hard to reason with. Ah well. He tends to be the only one that I can't contact away so...die by magic demon! And so Maki and Nat's personas gained rank 6 and 5 respectively. We gain some exp for Nat from Nue and then I realize these demons are at a level in which I can gain cards from. So Mark stares at a dribbler to an angered eagerness and gives us a card. Good contacting all around.

Next room, it's the art room! And a girl is being attacked by a demon! It's an Orge! No use reasoning with it so let's smash it! I will not be dissuaded by your longing for flowers! Reiji steps in and...takes out the demon in one strike! There's headbutting a guy and then there is this! -wistles- And everyone levels up with everyone being at 19 expect for our lagger, who's at 17. Ah, the advantage for scripted battles. We explain to Reiji the situation and he explains that he was saved by a girl in white. After Mark mentions that Kandori is here, he joins up with us! WOOT! PARTY MEMBER GET! Though he doesn't respond to Maki's introduction. She assumes that he thinks she's cute. Mark cuts in and says we should move in. Yep. Totally crushing dude.

Reiji's Persona is Bres of the Devil Arcana, known for the social links of Tanaka and Nurse Sayoko.

Our next battle is quite easy with Reiji's Persona gaining a rank up, learning Balzac, which heals a teammate of their aliment, giving them fury status instead. Though, I learned not to use Nat's Earth Skills against Kobold. Also, Nanjo's finally maxed out (lagger!) learning Eternal White, an area move. WOOT! Time to join the ranks of the multi enemy users Nanjo!

Next section gives us some Nekomata, finally giving us the opportunity to get it's card! YAY! Next a battle that gives us nothing of note. And while Reiji has only an attack and a status healing move to his Persona, at least he is fast enough to make that attack work, unlike Nanjo. Anyway, down to the bottom section and near the boss fight! YAY BOSS FIGHT IS NEAR! And for once, a contact with an Orge goes okay, though we mostly contact it away. Should have done with the item.

Anyway, Velvet Room! We find out the Quetzacoatl is one of the few Persona's Reiji can take on so I give it to him, hunting for an alternate fusion for Nanjo finally settling on Mokosh, an Empress Arcana that he is Good with. With that we head on over to the Save Tree and head onto the boss fight.

In the courtyard, we find our Girl in Black. Maki scolds her and tells her to change the school back while Aki, our girl in black, says she listens to no one but her Dad and that "Flatty" should try and stop her. Oh snap! Pulling breast size into it eh? Mark tells her to cool it but then Aki calls him a monkeyboy, teeing him up. Children! Such wonderful creatures. "Calm down, monkeyman." says Nanjo. -laughs- And so Aki summons Tesso and GREAT SCOTT!!! That's adorable!

With fitting music, though I still prefer Bloody Destiny, we take this cat machine on! Reiji's Persona gains a rank, learning Eiha. And...yep. This machine is weak to electricity. Nanjo's Light and Reiji's dark skills don't seem to work and since he blocks physical, I switched Nanjo over to one with other skills and set Reiji to shooting the machine up and using items as need be. And sure enough, it gained enough levels to learn Zio. From there, it was just Attack! Attack! Attack! until the enemy finally died, falling by Nanjo's hand with a Zio. Everyone expect for Reiji leveled up and he got pretty close.

Aki flees, telling her Daddy on us. Yosuke comes in to inform us the school is back to normal and tells us to meet with someone. He believed him and investigated the two worlds. Yosuke heads off to the libary ahead of us. Mark asked for Reiji his thoughts but he got brushed off being our bona-fide loner. Mark actually tells Nat that we should help him out of this and yes! No more demons! -kisses normal floor-

Up to the libary we find strange music and a strange wall and a strange person. It's Devil-Boy or Tsutomu! And this time, he's more informative! He gives us a thread of fate and that we must get to Kandori who holds the end of the string. He knows this thanks to our good ol' Philemon! And so we shall head off to the shrine...next time! Tips and advice are always appreciated folks so we shall see you all soon!

If you already have a fifth party member, Reiji is offered a part of the team, but blows you off and vows to deal with Kandori himself. I don't think the chosen fifth party member drives him off like with the other fifth party member candidates. He just says "screw you guys" and leaves.

Reiji does have a minor role later on as a NPC though.
