Welcome back.

Previously, Zero got his ass handed to him by Shadvic. And she joins the group.

Let's continue with...

Episode 4: The Hunt for the Dragon Master Begins

Today's theme is "E.T." by Katy Perry, perhaps the only theme that's not meh. It's actually pretty good, possible ripoff of t.A.T.u's "All the Things She Said" (among a few other songs, such as Queen's "We Will Rock You"—but definitely "All the Things She Said") be damned.

So we begin with our heroes about to ask around, wondering where Zero's base is located. Shadvic interrupts them, saying that she has a friend who may help them out. Who is that friend, you ask? Who knows?

Gyro agrees, and later...oh, my...pfft—HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You call that a fucking city? It looks like someone shattered a damn window. Anyway, the group arrives, and they find out that it's the remains of Shadvic's city. Yeah! One lonely building that resembles a window being broken into...oh, God.

I'm so sorry. But at least we're almost done.

She was the hero of her city, alongside a Robot Buddy, MERO 77 (I guess). She managed to get everyone out with Chaos Control once Zero attacked. However, the robot buddy was destroyed, along with the city, during the fight. She found the remains of her workshop and the robot buddy.

...ouch.

The group realizes that they can't stop Zero alone anymore. YOU THINK?! They will need more than just...themselves...and the robot. Except that the robot buddy's still dead, you idiot!

Anyway, the group was thought to have one Chaos Emerald. But Shadvic has her own. The idea is that she'll try to rebuild her city while the group goes back to the past so they can find their friend.

And so, Shadvic uses Chaos Control...but after Gyro and Venomous head out, she sees something. Who is it?

Well...we don't get a name, but we get, for God knows what reason, a cover of the Ghostbusters theme. And it cuts to a fucking To Be Continued screen, with the credits playing!

...God, I hate this film. But, oddly enough, it isn't as rage-inducing as the Prayer Warriors series. It's only rage-inducing because I'm wasting my time with it.

At least there are two good things about this part. For starters, it's almost done! Secondly, cover be damned, we're pretty much reminded of a way better movie out there.

Four down, one to go, and it'll be the finale next time! Will our heroes find the Dragon Master? Hell, who is the Dragon Master, anyway? Will they rescue Sabrina?

Find out next time on the concluding liveblog of Gyro: Dark Chronicles!
