Exploring Equestria.

Hello again, and welcome to my LP. Last time, we rescued the espers in the Magicteck Research Facility... sort of... and have learned that Twi is part esper. And now we have an airship.

An airship. You know what that means guys? I can go anywhere on the map! Granted, some areas may just kick my ass, but there is nothing stopping me trying! So, instead of going to Neighshe Like I'm meant to, I'm going to explore. Namely, I'm going to go to all towns I can, to see If there is anything interesting there, as well as some grinding on the Veldt with Pinkie.

I Get to pick who I want in my party now on the airship whenever I want! I Pick Twi, for spell learning, Pinkie, for Veldt move learning, Dash, to test her out, and Bloom, for her Medkit tool. (Can't beat free group healing. ^_^)

First off, there was a town at the north of the empire continent that I never went too. It's called Baltimare.

Heh, the guards still do nothing. Seriously, you would think that we would be on the empire's most wanted list at this point.

Apparently, this place had a royal family, but the empire killed them.

Heh, A mare here tells me to just run away if a meet the Guardian. Would have been nice to know earlier.

Oh! Someone is selling a glowing stone from the Magicteck Research Facility here! I bet it's Magicite! Could I have got this before? He stole it from the Facility when someone else broke in and raised a ruckus, so I guess not, presuming that was me. I buy it, anyway. It's got alot of healing moves to teach.

Ah, someone said that to the east there is a big gate. That is probably the esper's dimension. So that's what that imperial camp was guarding!

Anyway, there is nothing else here.

There is a second town I haven't been to yet, fart to the east of the map on the main continent. It's called Thamaresa. It's not possible to get here on foot.

Oh wow, this place is unfriendly to strangers. Most people refuse to speak to be, beyond pointing out that I'm strangers. The Inn costs 1500GP! The Shops refuse to sell to me! I know when I'm not wanted!

OK, to the north east of the map, there is a small island with no towns on it. I wish to land on it. It might have rare monsters!

OK, I found a monster, called Intangir. Sort of. It's invisible! Luckily, Pinkie can uncover it. I think it's due to me giving her a monocle, as that stops the enemies dodging her attacks. Or it might be because she used a lightning attack. I don't know.

... It just OHKO'ed everyone but Pinkie in one move using a move called Meteo. It failed to hit Pinkie for no discernible reason. (It wasn't her float status, as Dash has that too) I'm starting to think that Pinkie is secretly an esper herself. It's the only explanation to why she is so powerful.

OK, Now Pinkie gets hit by a second Meteo. Yep, it killed her too. I didn't even find a elemental move that he didn't just absorb, so I did no damage to it at all. Something tells me that fighting this monster was a bad idea.

OK, I fly away from the doom island of doom, Let's explore random towns!

OK, I'm not seeing anything new in the towns I'm going to...

Huh, the Sweet apple castle is blocked by soldiers. I can't get in.

Huh, in a house in Coltlingen which apparently was used to be owned by someone called Scratch, Bloom starts reminiscing. She says she let her best friend down. (I Guess Scratch?)

Flashback! Bloom and Scratch enter a cave. Bloom thinks there in treasure in it, but Scratch isn't sure. Bloom starts to cross a bridge in the cave, but it starts collapsing. Scratch pushes Bloom to safety, but doesn't get off the bridge herself, and falls into the pit the bridge was crossing. Bloom jumps after her, and somehow gets her home and in bed even though Scratch is unconscious.

Scratch wakes up, but turns out to have amnesia because of the fall. Scratch's mom is very upset by this, and throws Bloom out of the house. Bloom is upset by this, and tells her Mom that she is Scratch's best friend, and that they wish to find who they are together, but Scratch herself says that she can't remember this, and doesn't like the idea of being friends with someone who's idea of fun is going to dangerous places. Bloom stays outside the front of the house for a while, but a stranger tells her that Scratch will have a new start, and that her being there will not help that. Bloom leaves, and tries to forget about her, but can't. She decides to go back, and try anything to get her friend back, but she finds out that her friend is gone. The empire got her. Apparently, she gained back her memory just before she passed away. Her last words was Bloom's name. Bloom blames herself for her death. She says she should have tried harder to get her memory back. She says part of her died with Scratch.

Well, that explains her need to rescue Trixie...

Anyway, There's nothing else in this town. Lets look around others.

Hey, the auction house in Manehatten is open! Let's start bidding for stuff! What's for sale? Some relic I already have? Pass. Another Relic I already have? Nope. A Chocobo? WANT!!! I bid 10000GP! "Random Bidder: 500000GP!" SONOFABITCH! Why bid that much? Just because your kid wants it? Damn it, I want that Chocobo! Sigh... What's next? Wait, Magicite? They sell that here? Do they even know what that stuff does? Well, I'll bid for that, then. 15000GP! "Random Bidder:18000GP" Ah, stop bidding on it just because it's shiny! Damn it, this one is not getting away from me! 20000GP! Yes, got it!

...

I'm poor now...

Well, I might as well go to the Veldt now. I can't bid on any more stuff, and I'm fed up of going to random towns. I'll report back when I'm done or something interesting happens.

Actually, I have to go now sadly. I might be able to get a second part up later today, but for now, I'm ending this here.

Until next time. ^_^

Oh, yes, If there is anything interesting I missed, and you want me to go see, feel free to tell me where to go, though preferably without spoiling what you want me to see that much if possible.

I'll give you this tip for the future: When you're given the choice, you wait. You gotta wait.

Other than that, my knowledge of FFVI is limited to what I've seen in some really old (1994 old) issues of Nintendo Power and what I find on the 'net. I really need to get to playing it soon...
