Another small update

Just updating to say two things:

One, I defeated another dragon. It was the Blue dragon, found in the underground castle. He was fairly easy. He kept putting status ailments on himself, and then tried to transfer them to my party, but I killed him before that caused any problems. I also upgraded Odin there, so he now teaches Quick as well. (Allows one party member two turns at once) This leaves three dragons left.

Two, It is unlikely I will finish this before I go to Uni next week. However, I should still be able to update this blog. It's just a question of how often. I do promise that I will finish the game though. There is a good chance I will be unable to update next week however. I'll try and get more parts done before I go, and If I can finish before Uni starts, I will, but that relies on my Party getting strong enough.

EDIT: Also, I can't seem to find the Red Dragon. EndarkCuli has given me a helpful list of what area's the dragons are in, and I can't find him in the Phoenix cave (Star mountain) at all. I've searched the place completely. Am I missing something? Or has the modder moved it?

-The red dragon will now properly spawn in the zone eater dungeon without having to clear the phoenix cave first. If you are in the middle of either those two dungeons, finish them before updating your version of the rom from 0.95 to 0.96 or you may be unable to ever fight him.

Sounds like it's the one that got moved to inside the zone eaters

I suppose that Th AI makes sense, considering that there wasn't a dragon there in the original version, yet you encountered Basil instead of recruiting Faust there. Perhaps the modder wanted players new to Final Fantasy 6 to be able to recruit everyone easily, but also didn't want to waste a perfectly good dungeon and put Basil there as a bonus to those 'in the know' about the Zone Eater trick? ...Of course, all of that doesn't really matter. What DOES matter is that you've only got two elemental dragons and the Czar Dragon to go, and I'm positive you can do it!

...Oh, and best of luck at Uni!
