I love these quick chapters.
Before the chapter started, I took the time to buy lots of Killer weapons and a Recover staff with the Silver Card
Rennac made a mad dash for the eastern chests, killing off a Fighter and Druid, while Colm went out the northwest exit of the throne room. The rest of the group moved out through the southern entrance and then west towards the gate. Once the first wave of enemies was down, Colm moved towards the locked door barring his way to the chests.
Upon reaching the gate, the main party divided into two groups. Eirika, Ephraim, Natasha and Myrrh covered the western steps while Neimi, Ross, and Cormag barred the eastern entrance. The eastern group was met with very little resistance from the Swordmasters and Great Knights but the Lords team had to slog through a lot of Warriors, Rangers and Mage Knights.
Colm unlocked the door and picked the first chest for a Speedwing while Rennac opened the farthest chest for a Fortify staff.
Once the way was cleared out by Eirika, Natasha, and Myrrh, Ephraim took down Riev with three hits from the Brave Lance he earned from one of the Generals, receiving a Purge as a reward.
