Chapter 19
- Acknowledgement of a problem? Now we're getting somewhere.
- Ouch. They just keep one-upping themselves in how badly they can get injured, don't they?
- Memory Orb anesthetic? Good idea.
- Oh, come on. Gender swapping in a memory can't be that bad, can it?
- Spying on the crusaders again?
- And an assassination attempt against Applejack?
- Oh great. I'm not going to like any of this, am I?
- Well, that didn't answer anything. All it did was make we worry.
- Zombies in the basement. Just how long have those ponies been living there again?
- Time for another quest!
- Random loot is random, Pip. It doesn't have to make sense.
- I'm putting money on the phoenix returning the favor later.
- That's... actually a pretty good plan for rescuing Jack. Of course, it probably won't work, but it makes sense.
- And now Velvet is being stupid again.
- You know, Velvet, if Jack dies because of this, there'll be hell to pay.
- Drugs are bad. Lesson learned.
- GG Jack.

Thoughts on Chapter 19:
Thank god all of that addiction stuff is over. With that out of the way, now we can get back to the plot. The memory orb did not suggest good things, but exactly how bad and out of character they are is yet to be seen. Other than that, though, there wasn't much left to the chapter.
Chapter 20
- Damn, SteelHooves.
- So, by being the pony that initially pressed the charges, she is liable for the cost of his execution?
- Jack was a bastard right to the end, wasn't he?
- You know, if the real contents of that bag had spilled when you threw it, the whole room would be flooded with junk.
- Sexy stuff... yay?
- Pinkie Pie would have a non-standard statue. Awareness +1
- That's one nasty gun.
- Flashback time again!
- Come on, Pip. You've seen a dragon before.
- So new we get to meet Spike? Cool.
- And Velvet gets a pheonix. It pays to be nice, sometimes.
- Damn it, Fluttershy did create WMDs. That is wrong on so many levels. I don't care about MAD, Fluttershy was not the type of pony that would stand for that type of weapon even existing.
- Nope. Either it's a lie, or I'm simply going to pretend that revelation never happened. That is not Fluttershy.
- Hey Spike! Long time no see!
Thoughts on Chapter 20:
Lots of cool character stuff this chapter, and the romance is sweet, even if I don't care for it. It's about time that Pip called Spike out on his crap, too. I'm not going to touch the Fluttershy issue with a ten foot pole until I have more information. Just thinking about it makes me angry.
Bonus Thoughts: Chapter 20.5:
First, never make me read something like that again. Now that that's out of the way, I can talk about the character bits. Pip is the kind of pony that just about every pony should be. The kind of pony that they all were (at least in my mind), before this fic twisted them. That rant near the end was a great summation of her character thus far, and hopefully that doesn't change. This story has already broken the characters I was attached to from canon. The last thing I need is for it to break the character I've become attached to here, and that's all I have to say on this god-forsaken sub-fic.
