And by daring I mean simple and easy.

Chapter 2 - Rescue!: Finished.

Ike: Stomped everyone once again, only stopping to heal himself when he needed to. He took out the boss fairly easily and claimed his fancy little Speedwing for himself. Got a near perfect level up too (missing out on only luck), which is always nice.

Ikanau: Feebly tried to attack Ike, and hit him for a small amount of damage, only to get doubled on the counter. Ike then healed while he ran to hide in the bushes like a wimp, and Ike finished him off the next turn.

Up Next: Pirates Aground, where I will see a mouthy pegasus knight, a douchy sniper, a boisterous knight, and a foreshadowed character! Oh, and also some pirates, but who cares about those guys?

Comment Question: So, Ike got a damn nice, near perfect level up in this chapter, and as per usual in this kind of situation, I reacted with a yell of "Dayuuuuuum!" and some more assorted cheering. How do you usually react to something like that? Be descriptive!

Well, until the chapter is beaten and keeping such wonderful stats is guarenteed, I usually become quite nervous and even more careful because the stakes have definitely increased. Once I'm in the clear, though, I usually let out a sigh of relief, utter how awesome this is, and perhaps do a fist-pump if it's one of my favourite characters.

I think the only time I ever got a perfect level up was with Sothe, though, and I have the Blossom skill to thank for that.

Sothe is pretty awesome on his own, but he suffers from a lack of class changing, which means he can't get stats above 20 in his main combat stats, so he falls behind the others. I also most definitely agree with your anxiety when a good level up happens early, so you hope beyond all hope that nothing goes wrong.
