Another encounter with the Wolfguard!

This time though, they are anything but friendly. Also...

200th chapter landmark!

Pretty anticlimactic chapter to get it on, but hey, what'cha gonna do?

Chapter 18 - Battle of the Pass: Finished.

Base: Two new conversations in this chapter! Jake and Lyra (3), where Lyra suggests that Jake provide a rough notion as to where the shop is, to avoid telling where it is exactly while still getting customers. He then tells her where the one we visited in the desert was, but Lyra notes that we aren't going back there, and Jake can't remember where the others are, making him pretty down on himself. Robert and Lyra (2) involves Lyra asking if Robert can speak to his horses, given his closeness to them, and he explains that he can simply understand what they want and don't want, but that's about it. He notes that if he could speak to them, he would apologize for getting them involved in the war, and Lyra agrees with the sentiment. How's Everyone only grants us a Defense Potion. Now, after filling her inventory (and Gordin being kind enough to loan her the Starsphere for a short time), Sheema takes on the Drill Grounds! She is trained to level 10, where she is much more battle ready than she was before, and we take to the field!

Marth: Visited the village to the southwest (also using the boots to speed him on his way), causing all of the Wolfguard to retreat and granting him the Lifesphere. He then seized after all foes were slain.

Snipers & Horsemen: Easier to say than all of their names. As it stands, they basically slaughtered all of the Archanean foes, dispatching them systematically in a matter of two turns and finishing them on the third. Marth seized soon afterwards.

Horace, Sheema, & Jake: The generals held off the Wolfguard for the two turns it would take for Marth to get them called off, and Jake entered the cave nearby to obtain an arms scroll.

Generic Boss: Easily defeated in one round with a normal hit and a critical hit by Gordin.

Afterwards: Marth thanks Lyra for all her help, and then receives news of a rebellion that was quashed a little while ago at the palace. Jagen explains that the rebels are soon to be executed, and Marth urges a rush to the palace at once.

Up Next: The Final Battle, which is everything but.

Oh, is Sheema going to be part of your final team? Rad.

Yup. She seemed interesting, and I figured I might as well use her, since the Drill Grounds are available. She is likely to be the last party member though.
