Really praying for an Elysian Whip sometime soon...

Heath's getting up there in levels, and I'd really rather not have him, as well as Legualt, waiting for a really late promotion.

Chapter 22x - Genesis: Finished.

Base: Sold some extra stuff (mainly really weak weapons and dark magic tomes) to free up inventory space, and then positioned everyone in their groups, before setting off.

Heath, Legault, & Lucius: Were locked down on the right side of the sudden wall along with Eliwood. They just pushed on through, smashing everything they came across and cleaning up the treasure until they reached the room right before Kishuna's. Lucius healed them anytime they got hurt, though they needed to step out of the magic seal first, which was a bit annoying. After they reached the end of their path, Legault was whisked away by Florina to grab the treasure on the southwestern edge of the map, and his treasure collection was a Silver Blade, a Secret Book, and a Berserk staff. Heath, once all was said and done, opened Kishuna's room with a door key, and battled it out with the mercenary, knight, fighter, and archer that spawned, leading to the chapters end.

Lyn, Florina, Dart, & Wil: Trapped on the western side of the wall, they had a bit more of a scavengers time of it, having to grab keys from dead foes to continue without the presence of a thief for that utility. Otherwise, no problems, since they are quite strong, and simply trounced the enemies who came for them one by one. Eventually Florina flew off to pick up Legault so he could grab one final treasure chest, but other then that, they mostly just hung out once they reached the southwestern corner.

Kishuna: Warped away after Heath opened his door, leaving behind a few foes in his wake.

Afterward: Eliwood ponders Kishuna's existence, and Ninian states that Kishuna is a monster, but Pent simply notes that there are plenty of things unknown to even the most knowledgeable of people. They then head off to meet with the living legend. The lords meet with Athos, who informs the party that they must find a suitable response to Nergal's own power, or they will be unable to defeat him. Thus, Athos sends them to seek out the Shrine of Seals in Bern, and sends Hawkeye, Pent, and Louise with them as both company and allies. He then grants the group Afa's Drops, which shall be used later on. Athos warps the party to Pherae, where they will continue onto Bern. Eliwood appears in Pherae, where Eleanora mourns, and soon she has provided them a temporary place to rest, so that they may better tackle the challenges of Bern.

Up Next: Four Fanged Offensive, Lloyd edition (really should have trained the lords back in Badon, since I got Lloyd edition in the draft), where we face the White Wolf and meet an old soldier once more.

You know, Ninian blanking out here doesn't really make sense. Sure, she's a Mysterious Waif Manakete, but the only times she ever had eyes like that is when she gets mindwiped by Nergal. Of course, the whole Kishuna subplot is gibberish to begin with, and only serves to give up 19XX.

Yeah, I don't get why Ninian freaks out about him. He's completely irrelevant to her, outside of connection to Nergal, and it seems silly to try to shoehorn a connection between the two.

Of course, 19xx is it's own can of worms with it's annoying triggering requirement, but then, it doesn't really seem to have much to do with Kishuna.
