Thank god for all of my burly archers!

Seriously, if these guys didn't have so much defense, I'd have gotten my ass kicked here!

Chapter 6x - Mercenary Squad: Finished.

Base: There were lots of supports in this one! Lyra and Warren (2) deals with Warren's reclusive lifestyle, and his feelings on it (I quite liked that one. Warren's got a pretty interesting character). Lyra and Ryan (3) involves Ryan writing a letter home to his family, and inviting Lyra to visit his home when the war is over, since she lacks a family to return home to. Gordin and Ryan (3) involves them bonding over their increasing skill, and talking about the ability to read palms and determine someones skill from the wear and tear of weapon wielding. How's Everyone avails the party only a Glass Bow, a powerful but fragile weapon that shatters after 3 uses. I hand the Aquarius over to Warren, since res is nice, and I hand Norne the Gemini, for a nice strength boost. Gordin keeps the Cancer starshard, as spoils of his defeat of Lang.

Marth: Did his damnedest to hide and avoid being attacked, but one dude did reach him with a hand axe. After all normal foes fell, he circled around the side that was locked down due to Radd's imprisonment and Caesars limited range, and waited for Roro to fall before seizing.

Party: Scrambled to hold off the merciless horde of mercenaries. Lyra, Ryan, and Gordin used their sturdy defenses to deal with the main foes, and distract Radd and Caesar, leading to an eventual rout of all other foes, and the surrounding of Radd by archers on three sides, right below where Roro is. Caesar meanwhile continues attacking Lyra, while Norne sneaks away to take down Roro, guarding Marth on the way.

Roro: Fought with Lyra, and nearly killed her before he fell. They traded blows for three rounds, but she avoided enough hits to kill him first, and eventually "Roro" fell.

Afterwards: Caesar and Radd join us, and Roro explains the mechanics of his "brothers".

Up Next: Scarlet Swordsman, where Navarre and Feena survive some thieves in the woods while we come to the rescue!

What is the deal with Roro and his "brothers" anyway?

Hell if I know. Jagen mentions that they are children who've had their soul destroyed or something after your final encounter with the true Roro at the end of 10x, but I'd need to reach the chapter to get all of the information.
