God, Macedon must hate my army.

They specialize in flying units, and then we decide to field an army of archers. Sucks to be them.

Chapter 2 - Rebellion of Macedon: Finished.

Base: No new support talks, so just the obligatory chapter based ones. How's Everyone elicited nothing relevant save for a defense potion picked up by Ryan. Inventories are fine for now, and I need not bring anyone for the thief, since the only thing he carries is a lady sword, and that can't be used by me.

Marth: Visits the village and Cord joins us, though he's not going to do much, and seizes the castle at the end.

Catria: Recruited Warren, and then retreated to the back, since there was nothing else she needed to do.

Ryan & Lyra: Headed around the forest, preparing to do as Catria suggested and flank the enemy. When a cavalier platoon proved a bit too much for Gordin and Warren, they joined them for a bit to fend the enemies off. After that, they all healed at a fort, and joined together for to take down Rumel and his dracoknights

Gordin & Warren: Traveled through the forest, dealing with a hunter that was alongside Warren, before pushing through the trees to distract and attack the enemies. Gordin handed Warren an iron bow to help him hit more accurately. They received some assistance when it appeared that they would be overwhelmed by a group of cavaliers, joining up with Lyra and Ryan. They healed at a fort, and then dealt with Rumel's forces, feeding many kills to Warren to get his level up.

Rumel: Boss abused just a tad, although I can respect that he actually brought a ranged weapon. Took the enemies forever to start carrying ranged weapons in Shadow Dragon. Got a level for Gordin and Ryan before Warren shot him dead for a level himself.

Levels: Lyra 10, about as good as expected; Ryan 10, growing much like his brother did in Shadow Dragon, although better in basically every respect save for speed. The kids already got a whopping 13 defense!; Gordin 10, strongest person there, with 13 strength (10 is the next runner up, with both Lyra and Ryan having that), though he's a tad slow; Warren 5, already growing well for his level.

Afterwards: Linde joins us, since apparently Macedon finds mages suspicious. She gives Marth the Fire Emblem, and apparently Princess Nyna is not in a good situation.

Up Next: We deal with a really tedious chapter, and grab some nice items and people, as well as one not so nice one, before the end of the chapter.

I know there were the prologue chapters and all, but everyone is already at 10? Warren is already at five?

Then again, this is a chapter with multiple flying promoted units. Of course, for chapter 2, that is kinda overkill.

It helps that the final prologue chapter (as well as one or two chapters before that) is populated mostly by thieves, which give the kind of experience a promoted unit would.

Yeah, Warren only reached level 5 because of the dracoknights, but I can agree that it's kinda overkill.

I wonder why thieves give off 50 XP rather than the usual 30. Nearly any unit can easily shrug off the damage they deal, so they're not difficult to take down. Besides, you're already properly motivated to kill them before they escape with loot or destroy a village before Marth can get there.

I think it's because they can't promote, but they can reach level 30, so they are treated as promoted units, and give an amount of exp similar to promoted units. That's the only thing I can think of to explain it.
