Gonna be slow going for a while here...

Dealing with the lack of bow units is rather tough, and until chapter 4, where reclassing becomes available, I will be required to have other units (namely ones who are likely planned for reclassing later) assist them in fighting for the time being.

Chapter 1 - Marth Embarks: Finished.

Marth: Visited villages, seized castle, just standard fare.

Draug: Sold his lance and used the money Marth was given to buy about a dozen bows.

Abel & Caeda: Provided combat assistance for the archers, since until about chapter 4, there will only be two of them. Avoided fighting if possible, but were necessary for the sake of succeeding.

Gordin & Norne: Took care of most of the enemies, since they are the only bow users for right now. Started by waiting for enemies to get closer and then picking them off with ranged fire and support from Caeda and Abel. Once the first wave was down, everyone healed up, and then went on to pick off the gang of mooks waiting by Talys. That left only Gazzak to fight, who was easy pickings for them.

Gazzak: Stuck on a throne and lacking a ranged weapon, he'd be more accurately described as a target than a boss. Still, his healing kept up with the damage for the most part, up until Gordin ripped through most of his remaining health with a critical. He went down shortly thereafter.

So yeah, had to use other units, but that's fine, since up until chapter 4, I'm sort of forced to. Once reclassing becomes available, I won't need any other units, since I'll be able to have a fully functional army of archers.

Up Next: The pirates of Galder, where we get Ogma and Barst (two possible reclassing candidates), and Castor, another base class bowmen!

I remember when I spent 50+ turns on this map when I played it ... nearly every time, actually. I am that set on powering up Gordin early on.

I only spent so long on that map (about 30 turns) because the archers spent about 10 turns killing the boss, and they needed another bunch of turns to heal on forts. Norne and her ridiculously low 1 base skill helped that. Seriously, what is that?

I probably could have legitimately boss abused this guy, since he's such easy pickings, but I figured I wouldn't waste the resources when there are plenty of other bosses like this, and many arenas later as well.

What level are Gordin and Norne at anyway? I think it could be cool if you kept us up to date on the levels and such of at least the bow users (adding folks as you reclass them of course)

I really should do that more, to be honest, especially since after the boss gets killed, I get to sit around and do whatever, so I can look at the levels and share them. Gordin is at level 6, if I recall, and Norne is at level 4 or 5, I think.
