Girimehkala is the real threat here of course. What makes Sakahagi worth a mention though, is that his wide array of elemental attacks means that he can easily finish you off if you're weak to any elements. If not for Girimehkala's reflection of physical attacks, this fight would likely be no worse than any other.
You really have no choice but to have at least a small arsenal of magic. He has both buffs and debuffs, as well as dekunda and beast eye. His Mind attack is the biggest threat, and so you'll want to nullify it, but that won't win the battle by itself. Really, the strat is just as the video lays out, debuff his defense, heal up, and hit him with strong magic. Having Dekunda yourself helps, a lot. Also, I'm pretty sure you'll need Mediarama, because he hits hard.
