After much planning, I found the best course of action for this big map.
Hector, Oswin, Florina, Canas and Eliwood all take the outdoor passage, to deal with the huge amounts of soldiers defending it.
Matthew opens that initial door, Sain runs in and kills the archer. Lowen rescues Matthew, Kent rescues Lyn and they both follow Sain, who then starts destroying the wall, and distracting a nomad and a troubadour.
The main team, thanks to poor chokepoint tactics by the enemy, cuts through those lines like butter. At some point, they split: Canas goes for the treasure chests, Florina guards the rear, and Hector&Oswin open the main door and confront Darin.
At this point, Sain had already taken care of the eastern side, and Lowen&Kent caught up with them. Sain stayed to guard this particular passage from new reinforcements.
Oswin mainly toys with Darin. He could've finished him easily, but him and Hector needed to position Matthew properly to steal the Member Card, and recruit Legault... Plus, Canas needed to open both chests... Oswin then stopped playing and finished him in a one fell swoop.
Darin then yelled Ephidel's name while he was dying. The German wording vaguely suggests there was Ho Yay involved. Either way, Hector seized nonchalantly.
The biggest problem with this strategy was that bothersome Sniper in the southwest. I needed to Wurfbeil him in the first turn, then lure him north a few turns later (Eliwood took that shot. Manly.) and finish him with Florina who was finally available to do it. Needed to rethink several details of the strategy to make all of this work.
But in the end, the main strategy worked like a charm. I finished quickly and only skipped the Brave Bow (not needed) and the Secret Shop.
