Fought Yuyuko. Looking back, I realize now that video game logic would apply quite handily to her. She and many of her puppets are ghosts, thus undead, and thus weak to fire. Her puppets are all rather weak to fire, though insects apparently are a bother too...

Where to now, though? I suppose I could check that tower back in Prismriver...

I wholeheartedly agree. There's a ghost I've been just itching to add to my team anyway. Though, all things considered, I should probably be a bit more specific...

Prismriver Tower Floor 3 puppets: cLunasa (Ghost), cMerlin (Ghost), cLyrica (Ghost), cMima (Ghost/Dark), Lunasa (Ghost), cYuyuko (Grass/Ghost). Level range 15 to 30.

Prismriver Tower Floor 4 puppets: cLyrica, cLunasa, cMerlin, cKogasa (Ghost), cMima, cYoumu (Ghost/Steel), Lunasa, Merlin (Ghost), Lyrica (Ghost). Level range 14 to 34.

Prismriver Tower Floor 5 puppets: cLyrica, cMerlin, cLunasa, cMima, Lyrica, cYoumu. Level range 21 to 30.

Prismriver Tower Floor 6 puppets: cLunasa, cLyrica, cMerlin, Ghost (Ghost), cMurasa (Water/Ghost), cYoumu. Level range 26 to 33.

Prismriver Tower Floor 7 puppets: cMurasa, Lunasa, cMerlin, cLyrica, cYoumu, Merlin, Lyrica, cYuyuko. Level range 16 to 35.

Ghosts, ghosts, ghosts, and more ghosts. That's always the case with this tower, but here there's just a flat out ridiculous number of new ghost puppets to catch. So let's quickly go over them!

Lyrica is a speedy ghost with decent defensive stats. Merlin is an offensive ghost with good attack, special attack, and decent speed. Lunasa is a defensive ghost with an optional Water/Ghost swimsuit form that has slightly increased speed. All of them are basically set up to be baton passers, learning Baton Pass + stat increasing abilities. If I was going to use any of them in this hack, it'd probably be Lunasa. Defensive stats + Calm Mind (boosts defense and special defense in this hack) + Baton Pass doesn't seem too bad. The AI isn's particularly known for hazing/psuedo hazing afterall. If you know what those terms mean. If you don't, don't worry about it. It's another one of those pro terms you don't really need to know.

Next up, we have Mima! Yay Mima! Her stats are fairly balanced all around, with her attack noticeably higher than the rest of her stats. Which is odd since I never figured Mima to be the frontal assault type. Not that her special attack isn't useable, it's just lower than her physical attack for some reason. Because of her typing? If so, why couldn't ExRumia be a special attacker? Pft. Not using this one anyway. She wouldn't really lend much to my team.

I think we've seen pretty much every iteration of Yuyuko at this point. Of the forms I'd use, one is strong on the special side but slow. Though overall, ExYuyuko doesn't seem too bad. I mean, she's Grass/Ghost and gets Ice Beam. And she has Levitate. Immunity to fighting and ground is always nice. Then there's A-Yuyuko, who's hyper-offensive with VERY high special attack, high attack, good defense, decent hp, but poor speed and special defense. Could be situationally useful herself. Evolves from ExYuyuko with a Sun Stone. I think I'd go for A-Yuyuko myself.

Kogasa is another UFO, which means her stats pass the 600-bst mark even at EX. Physically defensive and does good on both attacks, but these days I find myself leaning more and more toward glass cannons anyway.

Youmu's speed, as mentioned before, is only decent at best. Surprisingly, her defense is actually her highest stat rather than attack. Special defense is not so great. LwYoumu is pretty much the same, not that we care. F-Youmu, though, is a much more interesting puppet. Amazing base attack, very good base speed, good defense, same hp, non-existant special defense, special attack slightly lower. Another glass cannon, in other words. Well, physical defense is good, but one special attack from nearly anything and she'll go down.

Finally, Murasa. Good attack, but even better special attack. Funny, I would have figured an anchor-wielding ghost-sailor would lean more toward attack. Eh...

Anyway, now that all the puppets are out of the way, let's check out the tower itself.

On the first floor, as usual, we run into our rival who asks if we want to know why she supports Team Rocket. I want to know how we're supposed to know she supports Team Rocket since this is the first time it came up. Apparently Renko isn't interested in the answer, though. Don't we get a say in this?

And Karen's response? She'll battle us. Because we don't want to know why she supports Team Rocket. Trainers battle for some of the dumbest reasons in pokemon but I think this must be close to the dumbest period. Not THE dumbest, but "I'll battle you and make you want to know rather than just telling you anyway!" is definitely up there.

Oh well. We're battling her.

This battle... was pretty sloppy on my part. Among other things, I forgot to save recently, so I couldn't even go back to arrange a better team. Doh.

Neko-Chen didn't really get to show off much this battle because of LwAya having Intimidate instead of Speed Boost for whatever reason. Poor kitty.

I make similar mistakes with many of my puppets though, sending them into battles they have no business fighting. Thief would have been a better choice to follow up with than Remirio, for example, though it seems likely that Aya would have been faster anyway and I believe she has Earthquake. And I think I was only spared a LwSanae sweep thanks to Thief landing a critical. Otherwise, I don't think Thief would have been able to finish her off. Thief also comes out to finish off Karen's final puppet, F-Patchouli. My team really wasn't ready for this battle...

After beating Karen, she complains about us not being able to see eye to eye, says we can't be friends anymore, then runs off. One, since when the hell were we friends? Two, SOMEONE JUST EXPLAIN THE GODDAMN PLOT ALREADY! All we know at this point is Team Rocket is trying to do... something... because Hina - and definitely not the curse goddess Hina - thinks the world is rotten and it's because of humans, a claim she didn't back up or support in any way, and Karen supports them.

We're almost finished the Team Rocket plot, by the way. Only this tower and the Silph Co. building left to go and still we don't even know what their goal is. Come to think of it, I wonder what Team Rocket's purpose for being here this time will be? They want the pokeflute to awaken some "thing" that will never be explained, really? Whatever, let's move on to the next floor and...

You know, I really should expect this sort of thing by now. That's right, the tower is now dark and slightly maze-like. Slightly. I think pretty much every trainer battle in here is forced now, so without further ado...

- Move forward and battle Channeler Hope. She has an ExLyrica. I use my own Ghost to beat this one. Easy battle since I taught Ghost Shadow Ball.

- Moving on, battle Channeler Carly who has an ExMerlin. Ghost OHKO's her.

And now I come to a dead end. GASP! Well, actually, the tombstone to my immediate right is fake. Pretty easy to figure out...

- Battle Channeler Patricia next. She has an ExLunasa. Another easy win for Ghost, who cannot be harmed by any of their attacks.

Next floor is the same. Real path hidden and no real maze to be had. Why the hell did this guy even bother? Trying to blindly find the real path just wastes time and that's about it. Not that I'm trying to blindly find the real path.

- Battle Channeler Paula. Another single puppet. This one's an F-Youmu. Steel/Ghost, but Steel no longer resists ghost-type attacks. So one Shadow Ball takes it out.

Forgot to get a screenshot, but picked up a Sun Stone after that battle. Score.

- Battle Channeler Jody, who has an F-Yuyuko. Ghost beats this one too. These channelers are pathetic but at least I get the battles over with quickly.

- Battle Channeler Laurel, who has an ExLunasa AND ExMerlin. Oh my. This is still a ridiculously easy win.

The next floor of the tower is rearranged, but there's no hidden paths on this one. Wonder if I should have grabbed the images for these floors...

- Battle Channeler Janae, who has a solitary ExLyrica. Remirio actually takes this one out with a bit of help from Ghost.

- Battle Channeler Karina, whose sole puppet is an ExMerlin. Remirio one-shots her with Crunch.

- Battle Channeler Ruth, whose sole puppet is LwYuyuko. Yuyuko survives a Crunch and beats Remirio with a crit Occult Dance. Oy. Anonymous finishes things.

Thankfully, the heal spot is still here on this level. Free healing in the middle of the dungeon is always good, even in a Pokemon game. Chalk up another point to Pokemon B/W, by the way, for having Doctor and Nurse trainers who basically become a pokemon center after beating them. Heck, I ended up using one of them as a training spot in Victory Road! I don't often bother training in victory road because the experience there always seems kinda "meh" for that late in the game, and the wild pokemon annoying, but Unova's Victory Road proved much better. Having a Lucky Egg helps.

- Final trainer on this floor, Channeler Tammy with an ExLunasa. Remirio beats this one. These battles are really getting repetitive though...

Nearing the end now. The sixth floor, just before the top floor, is rearranged but still nothing special really. Not even a hidden path.

- Battle Channeler Jennifer and her LwYoumu. It's level 90, as if that makes much difference. It survives a Flamethrower from Remirio and OHKO's him in return with Petal Storm, which is actually a steel-type attack. Thief finishes it. Kinda annoyed but whatever. Afterall, free healing.

- Channeler Angelica actually has THREE puppets! And if you guessed that those three puppets would be EX forms of the Prismriver Sisters, you'd be right! Remirio Crunches them all up.

- Final Channeler, period. Emilia. Has a LwMima. Decide to let DarkKnight handle this, though she has to do so with Rock Slide. Still wins fairly easily.

Reach the end of the floor and now we finall face the ghost! What devious puppet could we run into here!?

How about a level 30 Lunasa. I'd make a joke about Shinigami just coming to take her away before even battling my puppets, but she's already a ghost...

Now we finally get to the top floor, where that minor Team Rocket plot happens. There's three grunts up here to battle. Let's hope they're more interesting than all those channelers.

- The first of these grunts is Dexter. He leads with LwAlice. She narrowly survives a Flamethrower from Thief and takes her down with Psychosis in return. DarKKngiht finishes her ooff. ExRumia is next, but she's inferior to DarkKnight and thusly defeated. LwMima is last and dealt with by... herself, using Memento on Ghost and dealing no damage. Right-o.

- The next grunt is Grunt... Ass. No, really. That's his name. Real mature, Drakuaza. It's like I find something like this every installment now. He leads with an FPatchouli, easily beaten by Ghost, and LwChen, who takes a bit more effort from Ghost thanks to Intimidate.

- Finally, Grunt Cervantes, who has a full team of 6 puppets. He leads with an F-Remilia, which is basically a far more powerful and far more frail version of LwRemilia. Cervantes isn't happy with that and switches to Sariel, a legendary puppet. Psychic/Flying, 830 base stat total. Ghost gets a hit off but then goes down to a Thunderbolt. Thief takes out Sariel in turn with Thunderbolt.

Yuugenma is next, who goes down to DarkKnight just like the last one. F-Remilia comes back out and I decide to give Remirio a shot against this one. Remirio oneshots the F-Remilia with Shock Wave. Layla, a hyperoffensive legendary puppet that's Ghost/Psychic type comes out next. Realizing it has a dual weakness to dark-type attacks, I keep Remirio out. She actually manages to outspeed and OHKO it with Crunch. Kikuri is next, Green comes out to do her thing, whittling Kikuri down to nothing with Curse.

Final puppet is Kongala, which I send Anonymous out against with the intention of weakening it. Turns out Anonymous can actually survive a Brick Break from her, so she ends up 2HKOing with Aeroblast instead. To quote a certain announcer, there goes the battle!

After beating Cervantes, we talk to Mr. Fuji. He thanks me for beating Team Rocket because they were trying to take some statue which has a Cursed Goddess, who he thinks they tried to revive to steal her Powers. He thinks that, anyway. Doesn't quite seem to know for sure. Capitalization Drakuaza's. Anyway, apparently they want to recreate the world, though I'm not sure how they expect a cursed goddess to help with that so maybe Fuji's just senile. Whatever, I've officially learned more about the plot from Fuji than from anyone else I beat up. Everyone else talks as if I should know this already instead.

Of course, this still only really covers this particular incident. I mean, what is Hina REALLY trying to do now? I mean, this is a Fr/Lg hack and the next event is going to be at Silph. What, is Silph making time machines or something now?

After speaking with Fuji, he teleports us to his house. That'd be a nice power to have, though you won't hear me complain about not having to... waste an Escape Rope. Anyway, he informs me that without a deep love for Lolis, my touhoudex quest will fail. He then gives me a Loliflute to help me.

I have no words.

I'm now certain that Drakulocks just made a game around a crappy fan fiction that he made. YOUR RIVAL IS NOW EEEEEEEVIL!!! EVERYTHING IS DARK AND SCARY!! THERE IS A MAN WHOSE NAME IS ASS!

I'm still waiting for the 'lol i troll u' moment to show up. Or the part where the 'game' drops everything and outright threatens to turn you into a bloody smear.

At least be thankful you're not doing a Nuzlocke run of this.

Yep, This game is definetely based on some crappy fan-fiction. And as said before: Be thankful you're not doing a Nuzlocke run of this.
