Scene 19: White Nights

Not much to do before this mission. Let's just hop in to The Tundra.

Scene 19: White Nights

Another snow level! The main annoyance here is the sheer number of towns. 15 towns, 4 temples! And 7 treasures! I suggest leaving those for a second visit as much as possible. This is another level we should have done earlier, but since Mizal is the boss, I wanted to get Yushis first! I suggest sending evil units up the road to Balleny and Kotz, where they can intercept the enemy units. Intahi and the two temples are also good places to put people at. Because Mizal is the boss, we are fighting LOST of high Ali unit. This is a terrible stage for undeads.

Shacketon is freed first for VI: Lovers.

Mizal, the ruler of this area, is a fallen angel, and a traitor to the heavens. It is a rule of the heavens that there is to be no contact with humans, except for the occasional transaction with monks. But Mizal fell in love with a human. Not only that but with the mage Rashidi!

Endis Rohn gets me IV: Emperor.

Some incredible magic was used 25 years ago which has caused it to snow ever since. What kind of magic could be powerful enough to change the weather?

Kotz is freed first for another VI: Lovers.

Why do you think that Angels are fighting for the Empire? Because to call angels for help you need permission of the head angel. But I can't imagine how Rashidi could have made a deal like that... Mizal, the leader of this area, used to be the Head Angel. She fell in love with Rashidi and left her post to be with him, but the pact still was in place.

First enemy I meet is a muse and two silver dragons. No match for Slust. Second squad is a trio of cherubim and a wyvern.

Ells Wahs is freed next for 0: Fool.

She gave up the heavens for a man like Rashidi, but many still feel sorry for her. I guess that in a way, she's responsible for this, but it's hard not to be moved by her story.

Warren then fights 4 valkyries with a Paladin. He follows up by crushing three angels and a paladin. In Ruskayah I get XVIII: Moon and a flame sword; str +6 fire elemental. Mohnso gets me IV: Emperor. Nansen is next for VIII: Strength., followed by Syble and XIV: Temperance. Since I am full of cards, I don't draw anything from the SW temple, though I do find a thunder whip, str +6, electric. Balleny is freed for I: Magician and Warren kills 4 more units.

The Fallen Angel Mizal is still waiting for Rashidi to return in Valhala Castle to the north.

Intahi is freed by Canopus.

Another Angel named Yushis came to earth to try and take Mizal back. But she was trapped by Rashidi and imprisoned in Antalia.

Mallibhad is freed by Aisha for XX: Judgement.

I heard that the Angel Mizal gave an incredibly powerful stone to the wizard Rashidi. I'm not sure what kind of stone it was, but it's apparently as powerful as the Zodiac Stones, Rashidi was after that stone. I'm sure that's why he approached her in the first place.

Maklin Tok is freed. Herald Coast too.

The fallen Angel Mizal rules this land under the protection of Rashidi. She is said to have been the Head Angel when she lived in heavens. How could she have thrown that away and come down to earth?

With my evil units defeating the last squads, Aisha is free to bring Yushis to Mizal. The confrontation that follows is heart wrenching. Poor Mizal! Anyway, she wants us to kill her, but she's not going down without a fight. She's a Seraph, and has two Ice Giants tanking for her. Thankfully, Princess Aisha's starlites and the magician cards will tear them apart.

An easy fight, but still, poor Yushis! Having to kill her sister like this! Anyway, returning to Valhalla gets me a Snow Cape, Physical + 11, Cold + 16.

The first treasure is yet another Sword of Euros. Sweet. Then a Battle Bugle, str +2, Phys +2. Then three Burning Bands, fire +6, ice -4, another bolt orb. Lastly is a Hydra's Fang. Str +6, Phys +6, Fire +8.

Whew. That's a lot of loot!

Nezr time: We fought an angel, next is a devil!
