Well, thats the end of that. The Imagawa army thrashes mine as I try to lay ambush on its way to Mikawa. I'm annihilated even after striking their column on both sides. My plan to smash into the enemy archers fails miserably as they react before I even get my archers into range. Then I'm simply overwhelmed by enemy spears and numbers. None of my men survive, not even my generals.
I'm not coming back from that. My army is no more, and the Imagawa will kill me even if the Kitabatake don't.
I did pretty shamefully there. Its obvious I'm not up to the task on legendary. Compliments to the Creative Assembly, they've proven they can make me fear the AI. In Medieval II I fearlessly marched outnumbered militia armies to take out multiple armies of professional knights. In Shogun II, I'm scared to fight on equal terms on the highest difficulties. I'll be back when I'm a little better at this.
